02:56He rules in their favor.

02:59And the SEC immediately turns around and sues LSU.

03:05So a couple things about this.
03:06One is, of course this is absurd.

03:13There is an undercurrent from the SEC and talk that it could lead to a movement to kick LSU

03:27I suspect that that's only idle talk.

03:30However, I would love to hear that there's a meeting of SEC athletic directors and presidents
03:37to talk about a future without LSU.
03:39Is there a school that has three of their head coaches as polarizing as LSU when you have

05:07When you are the way Lane Kiffin is, it's going to lead to the honor amongst thieves code
05:15to be broken, and coaches are going to call up, and whether or not the NCAA has any teeth
05:21anymore has gotten discussed, they kind of do, but they have to have hard evidence to
05:26be able to prove things because everything gets resolved in court these days.
05:30You are right, but in a weird, sick way, I'm glad this Lane Kiffin thing is happening
05:38because in all of our lives, you know, television shows, movies, sports, you want to have a villain.
05:49And Lane Kiffin is the villain of college football right now, and if LSU is playing somebody
05:56and, you know, am I going to watch this game or another, I'll watch LSU to hope the villain

06:01Because it used to be, you would put on LSU just to see, you know, two goalposts and the
06:06five yards.
06:08The five yard, every five yards, there's a, you know, the five yard line, the 10 yard
06:11line, the 15, the tiger eye in the middle of the field is sick.

06:15Look, and now you put on LSU, you want to see Lane Kiffin lose.
06:19And by the way, except for Coach O, I mean, their head coach is, you know, Brian Kelly
06:28was not exactly well-loved, and either was Les Miles, if you think about it.

06:40timeline, the sitting over there in the corner in a boardroom rubbing their hands

06:47Because they've got LSU Clemson Saturday night.

06:50And the ratings are going to be off the charts, off the charts.
06:54And, and you know, it's a storyline for college football and you're right, huge villain.
07:01And before he's coached a game, I suspect there are LSU fans, maybe not all of them, and maybe
07:09not a huge percentage, but I can almost guarantee there are some that are saying, is this even
07:13worth it?

07:14Because these, these two players that were at Ole Miss, then went to the NFL and came
07:18back and look, the case can be made.
07:20I've talked about this a lot.
07:22I feel bad.
07:23Timing is bad.
07:24The NCAA brought this upon themselves by announcing the five for five thing after players were
07:31drafted.
07:31They should have done it well beforehand.
07:33So everybody can be prepared and everybody knows, but they kind of blew that.
07:38And some of these kids kind of got screwed.
07:40If you were four years done and went pro because you didn't think you could come back and then
07:44found out later you could, you go, wait, I wouldn't have left.
07:47And then you get cut and life's not fair to you.
07:51And, but the ones who, who get cut or screwed the most that I feel bad for are the ones

07:56lose.
07:57I don't know if they lose their scholarship, but they lose their place on their team because
08:00you brought some guy who couldn't make the NFL back.

08:04Can you imagine being a parent of that kid?

08:26But so much, so much of what happens in sports now happens because of lawsuits or fear of

08:35Well, the NCAA's problem is, man, they were like UMass up until yesterday.
08:41They lose every lawsuit.
08:42That's their problem.
08:43At the NCAA, either they have bad lawyers or just bad cases.
08:48The landscape would be a lot different, but nobody's afraid to sue the NCAA because they
08:55know they'll win.
08:57They're winning, the cases against them are winning a lot.
08:59Now, the SEC, I can almost guarantee that the SEC is going to get an injunction.
09:04And these players, over or under on number of games they'd play, I'd put it at like two
09:08and a half, but Lane is rocking the boat.
09:13But we saw it with Harbaugh with satellite camps.
09:15And I will tell you, they put yourself in the bullseye and people are going to come at
09:21Lane.
09:22They're going to come at Lane.
09:23And I can almost guarantee that during this season, we're going to hear something about
09:30Lane Kiffin or LSU that came from somebody in the game that said, I'm not protecting this
