00:00Bro, this is absolutely insane. Some of these places are going way too far when it comes to invading our
00:09privacy in our lives.
00:11Check out what Walmart has done.
00:17Walmart just updated their privacy policy to let us know exactly what information they're collecting on us.
00:23I'll give you a quick summary right now. It's literally everything about us.
00:27And I'll get into it in just a second.
00:29But this goes perfectly hand in hand with all of the digital price tags that they're rolling out and integrating
00:36into every single one of their stores by the end of 2026.
00:39So that they can update their prices in real time depending on who's buying.
00:45Let me show you how they're going to do this and why I think they're going to be able to
00:48easily get away with it.
00:50So we're just going to ease into it.
00:52At first, they give you this page, your basic personal information, your name, your email address, your shipping address, your
00:59IP address, your social media information, the information about your browsing and search activity, your keystroke patterns.
01:07This is easing into it.
01:09They're also collecting your household income, your education, your professional and employment information, and your family health.
01:17Now here's where it kind of hits the fan.
01:19They're collecting your voice print, imagery of your iris and retina, face geometry, palm prints, and fingerprints.
01:26They also know the exact location of your device.
01:31And your criminal history, including your entire background check.
01:36Now here's where it gets really, really interesting.
01:39And this is what goes hand in hand with the digital price tags.
01:42Because Walmart is able to make inferences based on your individual preferences, characteristics, and shopping patterns and behaviors.
01:51So they are able to infer using AI data analyzation exactly what your spending tendencies are based on literally everything
02:01about you.
02:03And they're also using automated license plate readers and internal surveillance cameras so that they know exactly when you're walking
02:11into the store and what aisle you're in.
02:13We may be able to recognize the location of your mobile device in our stores when you are in a
02:18store where we provide free Wi-Fi access or through the use of Bluetooth technology.
02:23Considering literally every single one of their stores is being integrated with digital price tags that are Bluetooth integrated, this
02:29includes all of their stores right here.
02:31They say, we use information that may be considered sensitive personal information under state laws.
02:37And may make inferences about customers, which we may use to promote certain products or services.
02:44They're going to be able to change their prices because they're going to be able to call them promotional services.
02:50So if Sally's over here paying $5.99 for eggs, John over here only has to pay $3.99 because
02:56he's under a promotional period.
02:58Specifically tailored.
