02:34Before we get to that, question of the night.

02:37Wait, I'm always asking for like, share, comments, and subscribe,

02:39but you know what?

02:40What if I give you something that would be great for you to comment on to help me out?

02:43I need to understand the fandom, the fan perspective,

02:46and tonight I have a question for you.

02:48In the comments, my question for you is,

02:50should Penta have won on Monday Night Raw?

02:54Do you believe that Penta winning would have been a better decision for WWE's booking?

02:58And here's why I'm asking the question,

03:00because I have now listened to Sean Ross Sapp's reaction,

03:03Dave Meltzer, Ryan Satine, all these different people,

03:08Denise Salcedo, the guys over at WrestleTalk News, what culture?

03:12There's so much debate about this.

03:17Watching Dave Meltzer discuss this the other day on his show

03:20and seeing him going back and forth over this was fascinating

03:26because a lot of people felt like you should have seen Penta win.

03:30You're in Mexico City, and one of the claims that Dave made was

03:33is had he won, he would have been a made man in Mexico.

03:36Now, I would argue he's already a made man in Mexico,

03:38but I want to know what you think.

03:41Do you think it would have been a better move for Penta to have won

03:44the WWE World Championship instead of Roman Reigns retaining in Mexico?

03:50From there, let's get into some other conversation about the WWE Championship.

03:54Why did CM Punk lose the championship?

03:56Well, according to WhatCulture Wrestling, their understanding is,

04:01is that the reason for the title change is exactly what we predicted on this show.

04:06Go back and check the previous episodes.

04:08I called this a week and a half ago.

04:10As soon as Sami Zayn won the championship, I said, here's the deal.

04:14Sami Zayn has to win that championship because with Sami Zayn's title win,

04:18what you create is the opportunity for in Saudi Arabia for Sami Zayn to face Roman Reigns

04:24for the WWE Championship, and this is an opportunity for Sami to get his win back.

04:29He faced Roman Reigns in Toronto a few years back before Elimination Chamber,

04:35and when he placed him at Elimination Chamber,

04:37everybody in the arena wanted Sami to win that match,

04:41and WWE chose not to pull the trigger on that,

04:44and instead, they allowed Roman Reigns to win.

04:47Why? Because they were heading into WrestleMania season

04:49where you were going to see Cody Rhodes face Roman Reigns and finish the story.

04:53I understand that. It all makes a ton of sense.

04:55However, the issue is, if you were going to do that,

04:59you shouldn't have had the Sami match to begin with.

05:01But now, all these years later, Roman is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

05:06Sami Zayn is the WWE Champion.

05:08The two champions will face each other at Crown Jewel for that ugly Crown Jewel Championship belt.

05:15And when they do that, you're going to see, in my opinion, here's a spoiler prediction,

05:20I believe Sami Zayn gets his win back against Roman Reigns in that match

05:25based on outside interference by the 946,

05:29thereby setting up the War Games match for later on at Survivor Series.

05:34We have to find a way to get Roman Reigns sucked into that.

05:38So Roman Reigns is going to face LA Knight at Money in the Bank.

05:41That feud is going to be wrapped up by the time we get to Crown Jewel.

05:45Crown Jewel is a one-time thing,

05:47cross-promotion between the two shows and their world champions.

05:50That's going to be over.

05:51We have to have a way to build to the Survivor Series.

05:55And the best way, in my opinion, to do that

05:57is going to be to see Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

05:59That is the most compelling match.

06:01Let Sami win that Crown Jewel Championship in Saudi Arabia.

06:04He's already won the WWE Championship there when he defeated Cody Rhodes.

06:07Now he can win the Crown Jewel Championship there.

06:09And that would be wildly over with the fans.

06:12The only hard part is they're both pretty much playing heels right now.

06:15And if you have the 946 attack Roman Reigns to cost him that match,

06:19that way you keep Roman strong.

06:20Because let's be honest, we want to keep Roman strong for Roman and Oba

06:23when he's going to basically hand that title over to Roe Oba at WrestleMania.

06:27So if you want to do that, the best way to keep him strong is 946 attacks.

06:31They lay him out.

06:32It gives an excuse why it doesn't take anything off of his character.

06:35And instead Sami Zayn could go on to take that championship.

06:39It's perfect.

06:40It's a great, great scenario.

06:42That being said, the confirmation from what culture that this punk loss is purely driven

06:48by the Roman versus Sami match does not surprise me.

06:52Lucha Libre Online is reporting that after the match with Roman Reigns,

06:56Penta has really punched his ticket as a premium star potential world heavyweight champion in the future.

07:01WWE has infinite confidence in him going forward.

07:04And it is obviously going to be a very great opportunity for him.

07:08You can't ask for a better situation than what he had on Monday night.

07:12That's why people are debating whether he should have won or not.

07:15The fact that he didn't win is problematic because now what do you do with him?

07:19If you don't let him beat Roman here, they had such an incredible match.

07:24How do you justify putting the title on him later unless it's from somebody else?

07:29Now, if you're going to have Roman lose the championship to Oba, are you going to suddenly book Penta over

07:33Oba?

07:34I don't see that being a realistic possibility either.

07:37So I don't know where they go from there and had to ever get Penta to that level.

07:40Maybe he switches brands.

07:42Now, the other thing to consider is people have been asking and clamoring for a reunion of the Lucha Brothers.

07:47If Penta's as over as he is coming out of this match and this report from Lucha Libre Online is

07:53accurate, then we're never going to see that reunion.

07:57And that's something I think everybody is clamoring to see.

07:59We want to see them in the tag team division.

08:01In the WWE where they're letting the tag team division fall apart basically in a lot of ways.

08:05And I saw what Eric Bischoff said this week on 83 Weeks where he was talking about WWE doesn't value

08:10the tag team wrestling anymore because it's not financially rewarding because you have to pay four talents for one match

08:15instead of two talents for one match.

08:17And I understand all of that, but the fans want diversity in what they watch.

08:22They don't just want to watch singles matches.

08:24They like tag team matches.

08:25They like trios matches.

08:26Tony Khan putting on a great tag team division and trios division is different from WWE's approach.

08:33He's not worried about every nickel and dime and things like that.

08:36So we get a different scenario.

08:38We get a different situation here where Tony Khan is respecting the tag team division.

08:42WWE not so much.

08:43This would be a great way putting those two back together.

08:45But now I don't see how you can do that.

08:47A report from Son Ross Sapp from Fightful Select talking about Drew McIntyre.

08:51He ran into him.

08:52Apparently, I think he said in Tennessee that Drew looks bigger and jacked more than ever.

08:57He's a phenomenal shape.

08:59He's ready to come back.

09:00He just has things.

09:01He's wrapping up.

09:02He's busy.

09:02He misses it.

09:03He wants to get back in the ring.

09:05I think there's a possibility if he is indeed done filming all these film projects he's been contributing to.

09:12Maybe we see Drew McIntyre as a last minute addition to one of these money in the bank qualifier matches

09:17and see him get into money in the bank.

09:19If not, I don't care what he does.

09:21Bring the guy back to TV.

09:22He is doing so much right now.

09:25And he is always a premium talent.

09:28Deserves to be in the World Championship conversation all the time.

09:31He's been gone since WrestleMania.

09:32That's far too long.

09:33They said he said something about he wasn't used to having this much time off.

09:37I get it.

09:38Can't wait to get Drew back.

09:40According to an episode of CVV, Chris Van Vliet talking to Lil Yachty about his WWE experience.

09:45Two big things jumped out from this interview to me.

09:48One, he is under contract to WWE.

09:51He said he's the first time he's letting people know this publicly.

09:54He is signed to a WWE contract.

09:56And towards the end of the interview, the discussion about Trick Williams, how they've grown so close together.

10:02They're like best friends, loves traveling on the road with Trick, but at some point he would like to have

10:07a match with Trick Williams.

10:08And, you know, Trick really isn't going to want to turn on him and he's not going to want to

10:11turn on Trick because of their friendship.

10:12But, obviously, you're smart people.

10:15You could deduce that that is a money opportunity.

10:17Even though Lil Yachty's not like a full-time pro wrestler or anything like that.

10:21I think he did prove he got some skills at Sunday night's main event, so I actually think it would

10:26be entertaining.

10:27We do have a conversation with AJ Lee on iHeart Women's Sports where she discussed her WWE return and how

10:33the biggest thing for her was mental health.

10:35She was very concerned about how WWE would treat her mental health, how she was insecure about coming back for

10:41a little while.

10:41And why she didn't come back sooner was basically because she didn't feel like they needed her.

10:46She felt like she had accomplished everything she needed to accomplish.

10:49They had such a stacked roster.

10:51Some concerns about whether she could still do this at the highest level.

10:55And that she had left behind a great career, a fantastic career, and didn't want to tarnish anything.

11:00And I think we can all agree, since she came back one, she looks as good or even better than

11:06when she left in terms of her physicality and her appearance, her actual movesets and match quality.

11:13It's like she didn't miss a day.

11:15She was still spot on, one of the best, if not the best, women's wrestler in the world.

11:20And everything she did with Becky Lynch was just, it was absolute perfect.

11:24So I can't wait for her to come back.

11:26I think she is clearly lined up for something down the pike.

11:29I think we would have already seen that if there wasn't an injury to Brie Bella.

11:32I've mentioned that several times before.

11:34But at this point, she made it very clear she's very thankful that WWE told her in the negotiations to

11:39come back that they were going to prioritize her mental health.

11:42And that was the most important thing to her.

11:44And I think that's wonderful that they've advanced that company to the point where they can do that and understand

11:48the importance of addressing mental health for their talent.
