03:38This essentially is like a contract update episode
03:41And where we're starting first
03:43Is with Anthony Bowens and Max Caster
03:46Formerly a tag team called the Acclaimed in AEW
03:49And here's the deal
03:50First off, both contracts coming due in early October
03:53That has been confirmed
03:54And there has been no conversation about movement
03:56About these two guys negotiating for an extension with AEW
03:59Max Caster's done a lot of things on the indie scene
04:01Since breaking away from Anthony Bowens
04:03Anthony Bowens has been doing some things
04:05Ring of Honor, some stuff on AEW
04:07But it's very clear
04:09That these two both may be leaving AEW shortly
04:12So, somebody on X decides to ask the question
04:14That many people would like to know
04:15Especially if you're in WWE
04:17They asked Anthony Bowens
04:19If he sees the Acclaimed ever getting back together
04:21And he had a one-word response
04:23And it was very clear
04:24No
04:24Now, is he feeding the fire of this dissension between the two?
04:29Is there real-life heat between the two
04:31That they don't ever want to team together again?
04:32I don't know
04:33I haven't been there
04:34Or, would you say this to keep it mystique
04:37Around your tag team
04:40And then show up in WWE together
04:41Because you already have that great chemistry together
04:44And maybe you go that route
04:45I don't know what they're going to do
04:47I do know WWE had interest in Anthony Bowens previously
04:52Prior to him signing with AEW
04:53They didn't make a move fast enough
04:55He goes to AEW
04:56He's been there for quite a while
04:57It would be a great gift for WWE to get either one
04:59Or both of these guys
05:00Both contracts, like I said, coming due in October
05:03We're going to have to keep an eye on that
05:04I hope they both make it to television sooner than later
05:06Former NXT superstar Von Wagner
05:10If you don't remember who that is
05:11He is Wayne the Train Bloom
05:13From way back in the Beverly Brothers days
05:16An AWA Tag Team Champion
05:17His real-life name is Cal Bloom
05:20And he has now signed with a major promotion
05:22All Japan Pro Wrestling in Japan
05:24Joining the group Havoc
05:26They announced his joining of the club just yesterday
05:30On their social media platforms
05:32Havoc, one of the big groups in All Japan
05:34Now, if you don't remember
05:35Look, Von Wagner
05:36I feel like he was somebody who was pushed to the top of NXT
05:39Very quickly by Vince McMahon
05:41I think he had a personal liking for his character
05:43I hope he goes to All Japan
05:45Really hones his skills
05:47And gets another shot in WWE one of these days
05:50Another legacy wrestler
05:51Like I said, second generation
05:52With his dad, Wayne Bloom
05:55Training him from a young age
05:57And now he's spent some time in NXT
05:59Has not done a lot in any kind of sizable way
06:03Since leaving NXT
06:05This will be a great opportunity
06:06He did do like a dark match for AEW at one point
06:09Things like that
06:10But this could be a really great opportunity
06:12For him to add something to his repertoire
06:14Learn another style
06:15And maybe come back to a bigger promotion in the States
06:17At some point
06:18People asking questions constantly
06:20About Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford
06:22Real life couple
06:23AEW superstars
06:25Now what is going on with their contracts
06:27We haven't seen them on TV in quite a while
06:28Turns out they recently re-signed
06:31With AEW multi-year contracts
06:33They are going nowhere
06:34They will be staying with the promotion
06:36And the question now is
06:38You know, because there was conversation about Tony Khan
06:40Letting some contracts expire
06:42Letting some talents leave
06:43And obviously that's not the case with them
06:45So now what does he plan to do with them?
06:47I don't think the way they've been booked
06:49The last several months
06:50That they have any significant role
06:52That they can lean into
06:53So if you're going to keep them
06:54You've got to find a way
06:55To get them involved in the shows
06:57Maybe they're going to be
06:58Ring of Honor talents
06:59I don't know
07:00But Kip Sabian has some really great skills
07:02As does Penelope Ford
07:03I would love to see both of them
07:05Pushed into a more prominent role
07:07An opportunity to showcase on television
07:09More than they have in the last year or two
07:11When they first got to AEW
07:12There's a few times
07:13They've had some interesting storylines
07:14One with Miro
07:16Rusev back in the day
07:17Was interesting
07:18But since then
07:20Not a lot of real substance
07:21To anything they've done
07:22For Tony Khan to re-sign them
07:24He must see something in them
07:25I can't wait to see where this goes
07:27Going forward
07:28Hopefully they get on TV
07:29Very, very soon
07:31Somebody we're not seeing anytime soon
07:32In terms of in the wrestling company
07:34Vince Russo has announced
07:36His official departure
07:37From JCW
07:39Juggalo Championship Wrestling
07:40He said that he spoke to Violent J
07:43They had an amical split
07:44He's 65 years old
07:46He said he's 65 now
07:47It's not like it was 30 years ago
07:49Wrestling business has changed
07:51He's changed
07:52You know, there's a lot that has evolved
07:54Over that last 30 years
07:56And it's just not something
07:57He wants to continue doing
07:58In the current form
08:00And I'm sure there's more to it than that
08:02But it sounds like he's trying to keep
08:04Everything as polite and complimentary as possible
08:06Kudos to him
08:07I think that's something he wouldn't have done
08:0830 years ago
08:09So obviously he's grown quite a bit
08:11And he also referenced in a different interview
08:13Where he was really interested
08:14In spending more time with his wife
08:16And things like that
08:16And so a responsibility with JCW
08:19Was very time consuming
08:21So now we'll have to wait
08:23I know he does his Coach and Bro show
08:26That's probably not going anywhere
08:28Good stuff
08:28If you listen to it sometime
08:30He has some interesting insights sometimes
08:32I don't think Vince Russo is as bad
08:34As a lot of people make him out to be
08:35I know Jim Cornette has problems with him to this day
08:37But a lot of people find his commentary very insightful
08:41So I don't know
08:42We'll have to wait and see what his next move is
08:45But it sounds like he may be very happy
08:46Working with the companies that he already owns
08:49Doing the things he does in his private life
08:51And maybe taking a step back from the wrestling world
08:53Beyond the podcast
08:55Drake Maverick
08:56Former WWE and TNA superstar
08:59Some questions were asked by some fans
09:01Especially on X
09:02About whether or not he was still signed to WWE
09:05And frankly I don't remember the last time
09:08We saw him on WWE television
09:09I think the last thing I can remember
09:11Is when he was at Common Rezar's manager
09:14But that's been several years
09:16And it turns out he is still under contract
09:19At WWE working as an agent and producer
09:21In the back
09:22He said he was responding to that question
09:24From the WWE locker room
09:26Doing what he does now
09:27From behind the camera
09:29Rather than in front of the camera
09:30Though he did make a return to the wrestling world
09:33A couple weeks ago at Progress Wrestling
09:35So obviously WWE is still allowing him
09:37To take dates elsewhere
09:39For that type of stuff
09:40But his primary job now
09:42Is an agent and producer in WWE
09:46The next conversation piece
09:48Is all about the confusion we've had
09:51All week with WWE Worlds Collide
09:52We still don't have
09:54Everything about the show
09:56I know that they did announce officially
09:58That it will stream on YouTube
09:59Which is great
10:00Because now you can plan your schedule
10:02Around watching the show
10:03But I don't know what this show
10:06Was supposed to accomplish originally
10:07I think it was
10:08Well I shouldn't say that
10:09I think originally it was supposed to take
10:10Viewers away from All In
10:12Or I'm sorry All Out
10:13That did not work
10:15All Out is a sellout
10:16But now I think the focus has shifted
10:18Because they announced today
10:19That Worlds Collide is almost a sellout also
10:23So this is huge for AAA
10:26WWE putting together a great show
10:28You know I understand
10:30Rey Mysterio, CM Punk being on the show
10:32Is a big attraction
10:34And that's probably a big part of why
10:36They're selling so many tickets
10:37But it doesn't matter
10:37To the people thinking about
10:39Doing a corporate rights deal
10:40For a television program for AAA
10:42A sellout's a sellout
10:44WWE can do this whenever they want
10:46So if this helps them get a television deal
10:48More power to them
10:49I hope that happens
10:50And it looks like we have a more realistic opportunity
10:52Of putting that together
10:53Now that we're seeing such consistent sales of tickets
10:56They're pushing a great product on television
10:58And on YouTube
10:59I can't wait to see the show

11:44But Nick and Matt Jackson
11:46He started questioning
11:46Like how long do they want to do this for?

11:50Do they want to go?
11:50He was talking about how like
11:51These guys
11:53They're the ones who helped start AEW
11:55But at this point
11:56A lot of the guys
11:57Who are the originals
11:58Are getting to an age
11:59Where you have to start to wonder

12:16To try to get into WWE
