00:00Hello there, good afternoon. It got rather warm yesterday, temperatures pushed up to
00:0527 degrees Celsius. Another warm afternoon on offer today, though temperatures won't
00:10be getting quite that high. But with the warmth comes some dry weather, lots of sunshine
00:15for the large majority of us. There will be some spots of rain in places, mostly in the
00:20form of showers, just pushing into parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, perhaps northwest
00:24England and parts of Wales towards the end of the day. A fairly light winds for many,
00:29though, it's often going to be rather windy towards the northwest, especially towards
00:33the end of the day across the Western Isles. Towards many northern areas of the country
00:37as well, temperatures more towards average, but still warm in the sunshine as we head our
00:41way further south and east, temperatures pushing into the low 20s here. Now it should be fine
00:47and dry for many this evening. We'll eventually start to see more cloud push in towards the
00:52south, some mist and fog moving through here, and eventually some spells of rain just pushing
00:56into the far southwest of England, southern areas of Wales. Towards the north, though,
01:01often quite windy, a chance we could see some coastal gales towards the northwest. Most showers
01:07easing away, though there could be some spots of rain towards hills. And notice some heavy
01:11outbreaks of rain just starting to edge into the far northwest, where we'll see the strongest
01:15of the winds towards Sunday morning. And as a result of the cloud, the wind, that does
01:20mean temperatures won't be getting quite as chilly first thing on Sunday. Now, a fine
01:26start for most, some mist and fog in places. We will eventually start to see things turning
01:31more and more unsettled, this heavy band of rain slowly sinking its way eastwards. We could
01:36see some hail, some thunder associated with this system, especially towards the southwest
01:41later. Not only that, but it's going to be quite a windy day, still a chance of some coastal
01:46gales towards the northwest, but fairly gusty for all. We'll eventually start to see just
01:50a few showers start to push into parts of southeast England towards the day. This is where it's
01:55still going to feel fairly warm, temperatures once again pushing in towards the mid-twenties.
02:00Slightly below average towards the north, though, around 15 to 16 degrees Celsius, and probably
02:05feeling a little bit cooler under the cloud, under the rain, and amongst the stronger winds
02:09as well. Now, the rain will eventually start to clear, turning brighter or clearer behind.
02:15Some of that rain could linger for a time towards the far southeast, but eventually high pressure
02:21starts to build behind. So, away from the showers towards the northwest, many areas will be turning
02:25dry, clear overnight. So, that does mean as we head towards Monday, it's going to be another chilly
02:30start. But Monday itself, we have high pressure building, so it should be dry, bright, and a
02:35return of some sunshine. And then it's all eyes towards the west. We need to keep an eye on
02:40some developments out towards the Atlantic. It could bring in some rain towards Tuesday and Wednesday.
02:46Not only this, but some strong winds returning. This could lead to some fairly high gusts around
02:53western areas, some high waves towards coastal areas. Not only that, but if we keep an eye on where our
02:58winds are coming from, it does draw up a more southerly flow of air. So, once again, things are going
03:03to be
03:03turning quite warm, especially towards the south and southeast through the middle part of the week.
