00:00Hello there, good morning.
00:02We'll see a bit of a split in our weather today.
00:04Some will see sunshine, some will see cloudier skies, but most will see a return of some
00:09warmer weather.
00:10That's after quite a chilly start though across parts of England and Wales.
00:13Some fog in places, though this should soon clear away, allowing plenty of sunshine, particularly
00:18across central, southern and southeast parts of England.
00:21A bit cloudier elsewhere, particularly across the north, some rain and drizzle.
00:25This could be a little bit persistent across western hills of Scotland and also towards
00:29the north-west of England, also starting to cloud over across parts of Wales and south-west
00:34England.
00:35But for all, it is going to feel quite humid, quite muggy in places and temperatures widely
00:40pushing into the low to mid-twenties with the best of the sunshine across central and south-eastern
00:45parts of England.
00:48Now through the course of the evening, we won't see much change.
00:51There will still be some clear spells across the south and south-east.
00:54That's where things could turn a little bit chilly once again.
00:57But for most, it's going to be quite cloudy, still with some spells of rain and eventually
01:01more persistent spells of rain just starting to push towards the north-west of Scotland
01:05through the early hours of the morning.
01:08Townsend City is widely holding up between 10 to 14 degrees Celsius, but like I said, it
01:13could still turn that little bit chillier under the clear skies in the south.
01:17Then on Tuesday itself, once again, there's still a fair amount of cloud out there.
01:21We've got this front slowly sinking its way south-eastwards, bringing some persistent
01:26spells of rain across parts of Scotland and northern parts of England.
01:29And we'll see some showery bits of rain across northern parts of England, perhaps western
01:33areas of Wales.
01:34Once again, the best of the sunshine will be across the far south and south-east.
01:38Temperatures themselves actually are fairly similar to what we'll see on Monday, so mostly
01:42towards the high teens, towards the north-west under the cloudier skies, but elsewhere pushing
01:46into the low to mid-twenties, and there's still going to be that quite humid, muggy feel towards
01:51the afternoon.
01:53Then for the rest of the week, we still have that split in our weather.
01:56High pressure will actually still bring lots of dry, bright and sunny weather, but at times
02:01we will see some rain and showers, mostly confined to the north-west, and it could actually turn
02:05a little bit windy for a time, especially on Thursday and Friday towards coasts and hills
02:09of the north-west.
02:10And temperatures will actually be fairly warm for the first few days.
02:15Many areas will see temperatures into the low to mid-twenties, but gradually through the
02:20week they'll return to more towards average, and we'll notice that transition through the
02:25week, especially on Wednesday night where things are set to turn quite chilly, quite a
02:28few areas dropping down to the low single figures, leading to quite a chilly start on Thursday.
