00:50change your look. Cool. I think kind of like a lob something that's not a bob but

00:58You'll be at it. Okay cool. So first thing first is I'm gonna drape
01:03Cayenne. Then I'm gonna wet her hair completely wet it.
01:09I'm just so excited. I haven't been this excited since quarantine started.
01:14Especially about my looks like there hasn't been a big change so this is
01:17definitely like refreshing. I'm gonna section out the back of the hair first.
01:23Go up section by section. Cut completely down. Use scissors, clippers, razor. I don't want to
01:30build any unnecessary layers.
01:35This is the first time I cut my hair shorter in the last five, seven years. I had my
01:43short really short when I was in college. Oh my god that means I was in college five or seven
01:49years ago.
01:50Should I put that on camera? I love changing my hair a lot. I've done a lot of hair coloring

01:54I'm an actor. On my last show American Gods season two I was doing a lot of fun hair color

02:01blue, purple, everything. So normally I just do my hair depending on what kind of character I'm playing
02:06but since we're in quarantine and nothing is really going on I wanted a big change that I want it

02:12myself and this is just perfect. Once I'm done with the perimeter I will blow dry it the way that
02:19I blow dry I like to especially with this kind of a haircut I blow dry straight down. No body

02:32Phoebe Waller-Bridge from Fleabag. She has this amazing monologue when she goes into the salon with her sister
02:38because her sister's hair looks all weird. It is so true because as an actor I think even before an
02:43audition you really do have to put a lot of time in with hair. I do think it changes like
02:49the whole
02:49image of how you look. Then I'll add textures into it start tweaking out little corners and playing
02:56taking weight out of certain spots and then curling irons back into the hair.
