If there's one thing we take personally, it's style. And, part of that means defying definition — refusing to limit our options to the canon of womenswear. Yet, we know crossing the aisle into the men's department can be a big step, and finding the yin and yang of your style requires experimentation. With that in mind, we called in two of our favorite experts in gender-bending style: Hannah Hart, the hilarious host of My Drunk Kitchen on YouTube, and Deryck Todd, a fashion designer and the nightlife icon behind BowieBall. 00:16I call it urban glam.

00:19with a little bit of the volume turned up.

00:23silver, spikes, studs.
00:25There's something that gets you noticed in a crowd.

00:29How would you define your style?
00:30I think that I used to define myself
00:32as kind of like a modern tomboy.
00:34But I really think that's just evolved into androgyny.
00:37I think that androgyny is really coming into fashion
00:39as we kind of see male aesthetics and female aesthetics
00:42get closer and closer together.
00:44So you're bringing Ziggy Stardust, and I'm
00:46bringing internet stardom.
00:47What do you say we join forces to go out tonight?
00:49I'm game, but I think we can make you pop just a little bit more.

00:53But I also think we can maybe tone it down a little bit more
00:56so you don't get all the attention.
00:58Because you're the bomb, I think you might look great in a bomber jacket.
