00:09But what are your early thoughts on both guys so far?
00:12My first impressions of Darius Acuff Jr. were awful, awful.
00:18Bad body language, worst shot selection, and all things, worse coaching.
00:24He's got the worst coach of all the rookies.
00:27Doug Christie's pathetic.
00:29He's got the worst coach.
00:30But what's going to really put him in a position to get the Kings turned around,
00:36he's not afraid to shoot.
00:38He's not afraid to take the big shot.
00:40He's not afraid to have the ball in his hands.
00:42And that's what that organization needs right now.
00:44What they're asking Keaton Wagler to do is just, hey, man, go in, play your game,
00:50take your shots, and then come on and sit down.
00:52There's no pressure on him to do anything.
00:54The weight of the franchise is on Darius Acuff Jr.
00:57And so his performance because of that, actually, since I've seen him live,
01:02has really kind of helped me come back to what I thought he was going to be.
01:06Yeah, listen, I am still a very big fan of Darius Acuff Jr.
01:11I don't care that he's – we knew that he was going to be –
01:13I was booing him.
01:14I was booing him, dog.
01:15I ain't going to lie.
01:16I was booing him from the press area.
01:18Listen, man, it was a rough one.
01:19There have been some rough watches from Darius Acuff so far.
01:23But then inside of all that, you see these flashes of him being such a dominant score.
01:29Like, he's putting up 30-plus points on great efficiency and getting to the remedies.
01:34Yeah, the assist numbers.
01:36And, like, you see it.
01:37So it's going to take some time for a lot of these guys to kind of mesh into what we
01:41think they're going to be.
01:42But, you know, I just think, you know, with Wogler, watching him now for multiple times,
01:47he needs to be more physical.
01:48Teams are going to bully him.
01:49They're going to be very physical with him.
01:51They're going to kind of throw him around like a rag doll.
01:53And that's just going to come in time.
01:54But he is confident.
01:56He is poised.
01:57He kind of understands the game already.
01:59So it's going to take some time.
