00:02 - Another name to pay attention to this summer,
00:07 Carl Anthony Towns,
00:09 if he is indeed going to part ways with Minnesota.
00:13 J.Y., do you think there is much interest
00:15 around the association in the T-Wolves big man?
00:18 - There's interest, Ben,
00:21 but you have to look at the fact that Minnesota
00:23 gave up five first round picks to get Rudy Gobert.
00:26 So that means their cover in regards to draft capital
00:29 is minimum.
00:30 So they want to go ahead and try and recoup assets.
00:35 And it's amazing, Ben,
00:36 both Zach Levine and Carl Anthony Towns and Fred Katz,
00:40 a really good tied in reporter for the athletics,
00:42 for the Knicks.
00:44 It seems like everybody feels like
00:46 we got to try and fleece New York.
00:49 And this is what New York has been
00:51 for a long part of the last 20 to 25 years,
00:55 since the Ewing era,
00:56 is they overpay and James Dolan gets in the mix,
01:00 AKA think of the Kamala Anthony trade,
01:02 but the Knicks are showing patience,
01:05 which throwing teams off,
01:07 Carl Anthony Towns for a team ready.
01:10 That is a critical, critical year
01:14 for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
01:15 Can Kat and Gobert play together?
01:18 Does Ant-Man take the next step?
01:21 And if they don't,
01:22 with that win total at 43 and a half,
01:25 which I do like the over,
01:27 could there be changes in store for Minnesota,
01:32 AKA the head coach?
01:34 Because this is a team that I think
01:37 really needs to take, Ben, that next step.
