00:00 Now, let's move forward to some of the things that we normally talk about here on the show
00:06 with our contributors from your company, LegalSupport Support, Fanatics.
00:09 First month in Massachusetts is in the books.
00:11 Jim, naturally, we cover the finances of this and how things are going.
00:15 What are you seeing in terms of the statewide revenue there?
00:18 And I know Fanatics has some data out from a couple of other states as well.
00:22 Yeah, so in Massachusetts in June, they handled $1.9 million.
00:31 It's important to keep in mind that in the grand scheme of things, that probably seems
00:36 quite low.
00:38 But we have to keep in mind that they're still beta testing that app in Massachusetts, Maryland,
00:46 in Ohio and Tennessee as well.
00:49 So only prior Fanatics customers have access to the app.
00:56 So one would expect that their monthly handle in those states would be on the lower end.
01:05 So $1.9 million in Massachusetts for June, which was 1% of the overall monthly total
01:15 in Massachusetts, which came in a little bit higher than $327 million in total online sports
01:25 betting for June.
01:29 As you might expect as well, the local sportsbook in Massachusetts, if you will, DraftKings,
01:38 they have done quite well so far in Massachusetts in the first four months.
01:43 They have about half of all betting dollars coming through DraftKings there.
01:51 And like I said, they're based out of Boston.
01:54 So that would certainly make sense.
01:59 If you look at Maryland with Fanatics as well, a similar handle figure there, $1.6 million
02:07 in June.
02:08 In Maryland, they did offer up over $600,000 in bet credit.
02:14 So certainly a large portion of that handle was in those free promotional wagers.
02:22 But again, still beta testing that app there.
02:28 Overall in Maryland, we have seen DraftKings as we've seen DraftKings do in other states
02:35 that I know a couple of the other guys from LSR have mentioned on the show with you, Craig,
02:41 over the last couple of weeks.
02:43 We're seeing DraftKings increase their market share of handle over the last couple of months
02:50 in various spots around the country.
02:53 And Maryland is no different.
02:56 So in June, they had 37% of all wagering dollars, the total handle, which is up from 31% in
03:05 March.
03:06 And each month, they've just been slowly, slowly, slowly increasing a percentage point
03:11 or two every month for the last handful of months there.
03:18 Still in Maryland, still behind FanDuel for the overall leader of market share of handle
03:26 there.
03:27 But like I said, certainly seeing them increase their market share of handle quite consistently
03:35 in Maryland.
