00:02 Aller is throwing for seven yards per pass attempt.
00:05 That is far too conservative to be able to have explosive plays
00:09 to beat a team like Ohio State.
00:10 They're just going to grind it out for 60 minutes in Columbus
00:13 and win the football game when they're top to bottom,
00:16 probably a little bit less talented, right?
00:18 It's possible.
00:19 Now, if the rushing attack gets going,
00:21 they're going to be in this ballgame from start to finish.
00:23 I agree. I think they are.
00:24 Because what is the weakness of Ohio State
00:26 in back-to-back games and losses against Michigan?
00:29 They could not stop the run.
00:30 Nine rushing touchdowns allowed,
00:32 274 and a half rushing yards allowed
00:34 in both of those ballgames in terms of an average.
00:37 So again, they're very good against the run right now,
00:40 only giving up 109 rushing yards to opposing offenses.
00:43 But this is potentially the strongest offensive line
00:46 they've faced.
00:47 You know, Notre Dame, they played well.
00:49 I'm not going to lie, but Penn State's a different animal.
00:53 They pound the rock, not one, two running backs,
00:56 and they work off a play action.
00:58 So again, this is a game I would suggest,
01:00 you might want to see how it plays out
01:01 in terms of the first quarter,
01:02 because Ohio State jumps out and you like Penn State,
01:05 you might get a nine and a half, 10 point number on it.
01:08 Now you're a double digit underdog.
01:10 That's a different story.
01:11 So to back up your point, despite being on Ohio State,
01:15 Notre Dame did average, you know,
01:16 four and a half yards per carry in that game.
01:18 They, trust me, someone that was booting on Notre Dame
01:21 and had Audra Gaston Mays rushing yards,
01:23 Notre Dame did not run the football enough in that game.
01:25 Penn State will not make that mistake.
01:27 - Right.
01:28 - If Penn State's getting it on the ground,
01:29 they will keep it on the ground.
01:31 And that's one of the reasons we have this total here,
01:32 45 and a half, it has been crashing under.
01:36 I've not met the total, but if I'm going to use last game,
01:39 last year's numbers, kind of to help make my argument,
01:41 I can't then also ignore last year's total,
01:44 was 60 and a half.
01:45 - Yeah.
01:46 - And again, C.J. Stroud, who by the way,
01:49 I cannot give enough credit.
01:51 As someone who was the big Bryce Young guy
01:53 and big Anthony Richardson guy,
01:54 C.J. Stroud looks like he deserves a spot
01:56 in terms of top 10 quarterbacks in the entire NFL right now.
02:00 So that's what they lost last year, Ohio State,
02:02 that type of quarterback.
02:03 But we're still talking now, Mike,
02:05 about two touchdowns plus in terms of last year's total
02:08 to this year's total.
02:09 It is a significant drop when you look at this game
02:14 and you look at this number where,
02:15 yes, these defenses are great,
02:17 but there's also a lot of NFL players
02:18 on the offensive side for both of these.
