Incline dumbbell rows are a strong upper-back exercise, especially when you want to reduce momentum and make your back do more of the work.

—

1️⃣ Set the bench around 30–45° and lie chest-down with your feet firmly planted.

2️⃣ Start with your arms hanging naturally and shoulders relaxed rather than already shrugged back.

3️⃣ Brace your core and keep your chest against the bench throughout the set. Avoid lifting your torso to help move the weight.

4️⃣ Drive your elbows back, thinking about pulling through the elbows instead of simply curling the dumbbells upward.
