00:33it is a good list it's good company but nobody not even the most optimistic browns fan could have
00:42imagined they'd be three and one especially after the the awfulness that was the first game of the
00:49season so it is quite remarkable not only that they're three and one but how well they played
00:55it's and it's not like they beat the dolphins and i know the bucks are a bit of a mess

01:00they would have been better they would have turned it around a little bit at least with baker but like
01:05these the panthers won last night like or yesterday afternoon i mean it's it's so impressive what
01:12they've done unbelievable well and i think part of that obviously he has got to go to deshaun like i've
01:17been a big deshaun detractor but this last week has been me just saying all right you did three game
01:21winning drives i i have as much belief in deshaun as i've ever had with him in a browns uniform

01:33feelings it's like we gave up on this guy and there was every reason to give up on this guy

01:39terrible for four years he had almost no good moments almost no good games he'd been injured he
01:46did stupid things off the field we already knew about that but he continued to do stupid things off the
01:51field he didn't he initially wasn't rehabbing his torn achilles very carefully he uh obviously said
01:58some stupid things when it comes to the fans but however you feel about him if you hate the team
02:04because he's on here if you look at just the football he's played at least above average football
02:11if we sum it all up and that's way better than any of us and certainly i ever thought he

02:18this point bull how many more games before you fully trust deshaun
02:26oh that's a great question i i don't know i i really first of all he'd have to play better

02:41football he's ever played as a cleveland brown but then the second half he mostly stunk until that

03:11re-sign deshaun lawson and i said yeah it's not a likely scenario but everything that's happened so
03:16far is an unlikely scenario so i don't think it's impossible but to really trust him he's gonna have
03:22to do this for at least minimum to me another six games and he's gonna have to play even better
03:29than he's played so far this year and that's been pretty good so what does that scenario look like
03:33for you is that uh a post-season appearance is that like what's what what does he have to look
03:37like in order for you to extend him so a lot of people have said to me like oh it's

04:54i would at no time ever consider more than a one-year extension but if he plays really great
05:02football pro bowl level football how could you not think about it you're going to have if that
05:07happens you're going to have a bottom 12 pick in the first round and i know everybody's still the
05:11rams are only two and two we know they're going to straighten themselves out they already won this
05:15week so that's not going to be a high pick either so if it comes down to that i would

05:22consider it even if it meant franchise tagging him for a year and i can't yes i know how insane

07:15shador gets you to competitive you still take that swing at the quarterback this offseason in the draft
07:21right and then you just let it play out from there i think you can build the same thing with

11:20they couldn't hit last game and they they haven't had a hit with runners in scoring position yet in
11:26this series so i mean that's got it if that doesn't end soon they're not going to come back and

11:33series but right now at this moment with gavin williams pitching well and still having faith in
11:38the lineup i think they're going to come back and win the series i hope i'm not kidding myself
