00:08I'm in the company of Konstantin Papahiliou. Hi.
00:13Welcome.
00:13For telling my name almost correctly.
00:17You have received the Sigre Medal in 2020. Congratulations again.
00:21Thank you so much.
00:21What does it represent for you?
00:23It represents almost 50 years of Sigre.
00:27Because I joined Sigre before you were born, probably.
00:311976, you were born.
00:321976, you were born.
00:33No, you are not. That's why.
00:35Yes, it's nice to have this distinction,
00:39which is maybe for the other people a goal to achieve.
00:42Among all these years of Sigre experience,
00:45can you share with us maybe one of your most memorable moments with Sigre?
00:50The one I met my wife.
00:51Oh, nice.
00:52This is the most memorable moment.
00:53Because I met my wife in Paris in 1982.
00:59Don't catch me on that.
01:00She will be very angry with me if I don't tell her.
01:04But she will find out anyway.
01:06Oh.
01:07Where we met, I asked for a Sigre meeting here.
01:09She was here studying.
01:11And we met.
01:12And after 40 years, we were still together.
01:14And on a professional way, like during these kind of sessions?
01:18You see, during these sessions, it was when actually one of my most memorable moments
01:25was when I was elected chairman of study committee B2,
01:29because I have been dealing with Hophaget lines all of my life.
01:34And this was a very exciting moment to do.
01:37What does the feedback to be back in Paris after virtual sessions?
01:42And maybe a word about the top leading subject this year about energy transition?
01:47I think it's always good to be back in Paris, irrespective of COVID or not.
01:53It's a great city, which we love.
01:55And I think it's important to get the message again that we should try to save our future,
02:05taking consideration of the energy transition.
02:09Although, we have to tell you, it's a difficult one because nobody knows the answer yet.
02:14Oh, yes.
02:15Thank you for coming by, Mr. Fafagliou.
02:17And if I can add a message to the audience, join Sigre.
02:22You'll have the best experience of your life.
