00:08I'm honored to be in the company of Michel Aragonet, President of CIGRE and Philippe Adam,
00:13Secretariat General. Hi! Hi. How are you? Fine. Fine, thank you. The session is about to close.
00:20Let's begin with maybe a general overview with you Michel. I think that the Paris session went
00:26well. Yes, indeed. It was very, very successful. We, in fact, had 300, 700 people joining, which was
00:35over our expectations. And I would say also at the opening session, we had two and a half thousand
00:40people in the Amphille Theatre. When you think it was a sunny Sunday in Paris, I mean, it's really
00:44amazing. And it really shows the commitment of our delegates to this session. And that commitment,
00:50we could feel it all the week. There was a buzz all the time in the different floors, in the
00:54different
00:55shows, and very serious attendance inside the different rooms. And we also apologized because
01:01sometimes we had to close rooms without people inside, people being able to get in. So it was
01:04really a very energetic session. Pleasant to hear that. Of course, all our interviews within CIGRE TV
01:12are going to be available on the CIGRE website, but it goes beyond that. Tell us more, Philippe. Indeed.
01:19All the events have been recorded. And they will be available for replay from the session website after
01:26the session is over. Perfect. Maybe let's talk about what are you expecting from CIGRE delegates back to
01:36their countries. Well, before they come back to their countries, they would like to fill in the delegate
01:42surveys that will be sent on Friday afternoon. Okay. And they will have only two weeks to answer.
01:50Okay. So please don't forget to answer. You heard him. Well, maybe about the Paris session 2024.
02:00Yes, indeed. In fact, I would like to draw your attention on the fact that the 2024 session will be
02:08just in between the Olympics and the Paralympics game in Paris in 2024. So I would like you to take
02:17care of registering or booking your travel and accommodation as soon as possible to avoid having
02:25to pay high fees or high rates at the last moment. Yes, Paris will be like full booked everywhere.
02:33Michel, energy transition was indeed the top leading subject this year. What can we hope as maybe an
02:40heritage from this session? I think all the work that was carried out during the session in the working
02:45groups, in the webinars, all in fact contribute to the energy transition. And all the knowledge that's
02:53being gathered in fact goes that way. And therefore, we'll help our delegates to contribute to reducing to a
03:01carbon free society. So basically, what I would say out of this is that we are all going to shape
03:08the future of electricity. More than that, we're going to shape the future of energy. And even better,
03:13we're going to shape the future of humanity. It's fine word. Thank you, Michel. Maybe a last word
03:20you can address directly eye to eye to our delegates. Well, thank you very much for your contribution to
03:26to this session. And really, we're looking forward to see you in two years time. 2024 should be an even
03:33greater session. It will be also in Paris, the time of the Olympic Games. And maybe that could also
03:38inspire us in the way to manage energy in a dynamic and a worldwide way. And Paris will be also
03:44full of
03:45people. Philippe mentioned, but it will be also an occasion to have a lot of fun, a lot of inspiration
03:51by
03:51the people we'll meet. So hopeful to see you then. Thank you. Thank you, both of you. It was an
03:56amazing
03:56experience to be part of this session. Thank you. Thank you very much. And thank you a lot for what
04:01you've done this week for all of us. And thank you to all the team of The Sigret TV. Thank
04:05you. Thanks.
