00:22Today I'm going to use this lip dress from Forever 21.
00:24I love the lace detailing on the bottom, and the muted colors make it perfect for transitioning into fall.
00:29As the temperatures drop, you're going to need to layer something under or over the shift dress.
00:33I'm going to do a shirt under to start, and mix patterns with this straight turtleneck, and then I'll finish
00:38off the look with a chunky heel.
00:43This first look plays up the grunge 90s vibe of the dress in an unexpected way.
00:47Layer a mock turtleneck underneath in a mix-match pattern print, and pair it with a chunky shoe for an
00:52all-day look.
00:55So I've layered up on top, and now I'm going to layer up on bottom.
00:58So I'm going to go over to the pants section, and I could go for something like a jean or
01:02a black pant,
01:02but instead I'll do something fun and try out these dusty pink cords with tons of detailing.
01:07And then I'll finish off the look with a moto boot.
01:13I love the way this second outfit turned out, and I would wear this to work or on a weekend.
01:17It utilizes the dress tied up as a tunic, and it's perfect over these pants, especially because they have this
01:22great moto detailing.
01:23I finished off the look with a pair of boots, which makes it super walkable and transitional.
01:29So far we've layered the dress over pieces twice, but let's try something a little bit different.
01:34I'm going to layer it under something, a skirt, and I'll go for this one because it's in the same
01:38color palette.
01:39Then I'll pair it with this fall overcoat, and complete the look with some ladylike heels.
01:47This last look is perfect for a date night.
01:49What I've done is pair a high-waisted skirt with the dress, and this one works particularly well because it
01:53still lets the lace detailing show at the bottom.
01:55I topped it off with a boxy coat and really delicate heels.
