00:00 Quite a contrast in the weather across the country today.
00:02 Warm and sunny across the south, wet and quite windy
00:06 across the far northwest.
00:08 Here's the latest radar imagery.
00:10 So through the early hours, lots of showers
00:12 across northwest Scotland.
00:14 And further south, we had a few too.
00:16 But this line of rain has been moving in.
00:18 That's a weather front that's going
00:19 to make for a very wet day over the Western Isles
00:22 and the far northwest of the mainland of Scotland,
00:24 quite blustery over the northwest highlands too.
00:26 Breeze picking up a little over northern Britain generally
00:29 with a bit of cloud in the odd scattered shower.
00:31 But much of the south, dry, fine, sunny,
00:34 and really quite warm across east Anglia and the southeast.
00:37 Temperature's 25, 26 degrees Celsius.
00:39 Generally elsewhere, we'll creep into the low 20s,
00:42 feeling a little cooler as that wind continues to strengthen.
00:45 Could see a few more showers during this evening, possibly
00:48 even one or two heavy ones across parts of Wales
00:51 and then for a time over northern England.
00:53 But they'll be pretty well scattered.
00:55 The rain will edge south across Scotland and Northern Ireland,
00:58 breaking up as it does so, but making
01:00 for a damp and really windy night
01:02 across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
01:04 Further south, the winds will be fairly light.
01:05 Could be a bit of mist and fog across the southeast once more.
01:08 And it will be a pretty warm night right across the UK
01:11 with temperatures holding up at 14 or 15
01:13 Celsius in towns and cities.
01:15 On to Tuesday, again, a pretty mixed picture generally.
01:19 There'll be a lot of cloud across Scotland
01:21 and spreading south through Northern Ireland,
01:23 Northern England, with some outbreaks of rain pushing
01:25 into North Wales too.
01:27 The rain tending to break up a little bit,
01:29 so it won't rain all day.
01:30 More showery in nature, if anything,
01:32 and probably turning a little drier
01:34 after a wet start across the far northwest,
01:36 certainly drier than today, although staying fairly breezy.
01:40 As you can see, it's a scattering of showers
01:42 come the afternoon across most areas.
01:44 But the far south of England, East Anglia,
01:47 much of the Midlands likely to stay dry
01:49 and with some decent spells of sunshine.
01:51 It'll feel pretty warm again here with temperatures,
01:54 again, getting into the mid 20s, 26, even 27 Celsius,
01:58 just about possible.
01:59 For most places, we're going to be a little cooler tomorrow
02:01 compared to today with a bit more cloud around
02:04 and temperatures across Scotland,
02:06 Northern Ireland, high teens in many locations.
02:09 So feeling a little cooler here, especially with that breeze
02:12 continuing to strengthen.
02:14 The rest of the week, well, we'll
02:15 continue to see a few scattered showers coming
02:17 into the northwest.
02:18 Things do get more complicated towards the end of the week,
02:22 quite a bit of uncertainty about that.
02:24 For more details on that, if you've got plans this week,
02:26 catch our full week ahead forecast.
02:28 That'll be available on YouTube by Monday afternoon.
