00:00And that'll bring us to today's No Sweat News, the quiz on Friday for not only Nickelback passes to see the Nutcracker Ball, but meet-and-greet tickets as well.
00:12Holy cow, think about that, Nickelback, what a band.
00:15That's kind of huge.
00:17The Rats' Nutcracker Ball is at Starland Ballroom on November 18th.
00:23I don't know how I feel about this.
00:25Is this a sign of the times, a commentary on the economy?
00:28I'm not quite sure what, but Dateline Denver, somebody showed up to a pawn shop in Denver with a used coffin that they wanted to sell.
00:38Okay, used, you say?
00:40I say used, yes.
00:41Used, that's the issue I'm having right off the bat.
00:44Pasternak's pawn shop bought the coffin, and so if you're looking for a used coffin at a pawn shop, contact Pasternak's.
00:54I'm not a vampire, so no.
00:56I'm not looking for a coffin.
00:58New or used.
00:59I don't know what coffins generally go for, but this one's $499.
01:03No, my friend Dracula got one on eBay for $299.
01:07There you go.
01:09Selling used coffins at the pawn shop.
01:12Yeah, no thanks.
01:13If you get into that thing and you're like, this smells like grandma.
01:16I don't think that's necessary.
01:19Here's the getaway of a lifetime.
01:21Ready for this?
01:22We go to Missouri.
01:24Two thieves crashed into each other while trying to get away from the scene of their crime.
01:29Oh, my God.
01:30Two separate crimes?
01:31Yeah.
01:31Two different shoplifters stole two different stashes of stuff from a department store in Springfield, Missouri, and as they fled their two separate crimes in two separate getaway cars, they crashed into each other.
01:46That is amazing.
01:48That is naked gun type stuff right there.
01:51You couldn't even try to do that.
01:55That's insanity.
01:57That's good, right?
01:58That's good.
01:59I mean, that's got Saturday Night Live written on.
02:02I mean, anybody would love that one.
02:04Holy mackerel.
02:06They tried to run away, but cops tracked them down.
02:08Boys, boys.
02:09I mean, I'm assuming they're guys, but how about working together?
02:12You know, one car, one of you.
02:15This way you don't have to run into the other one.
02:17Carpool.
02:18Gas is expensive these days, Dave.
02:20You've got to carpool on things.
02:21See?
02:22You could have doubled the takes, split on the gas.
02:24It would have been perfect.
02:26There's our final story of the day.
02:28Dayline, Texas, a bunch of high school seniors have to take their college exams again because
02:34the UPS truck dropped them out all over the road.
02:38Okay.
02:39I don't think so.
02:41That's so bummed.
02:42Homie, don't play that.
02:43If the UPS truck, the papers come flying out of the back, the kid's getting A.
02:49Sorry.
02:50The official reason is they were lost in transit, but in reality, they were scattered all over
02:55Mesa Drive because the UPS driver left the back door of the truck open.
03:01Oh, my gosh.
03:01In fact, some students were driving and saw a bunch of stuff in the road.
03:07One of them noticed the little blue bubbles and thought, hey, that looks like our test.
03:13Our test is flying out of the truck there.
03:17We've got to go to see the video that we just posted at Facebook.com slash 95.9 The Rat.
03:26That's so funny.
03:47Oh, it's the SATs.
03:48What a kick in the pants.
03:49That's the worst test in the universe.
03:53The stress.
03:54I'm sorry.
03:55All that.
03:55No.
03:56No.
03:56I know this is for a college and whatnot, but I think all those kids deserve just a higher
04:02SAT scores.
04:03Right now, the district is working with the students to take the test again free of charge.
04:09No, thanks.
04:10I'd say no.
04:10You get a 1600.
04:12Yeah, I got a 1600.
04:13And then if I screwed up the second time, I'd be like, well, the first time I was awesome.
04:17And so now I'm filing a complaint of some sort.
04:20You got to see the video.
04:22I mean, this kid is driving along and he's like, the papers are everywhere.
04:27That's eight hours of my life.
04:28I can't get back.
04:29Got a quick check.
04:30Now, tomorrow we'll do three more stories.
04:33And then on Friday, we do the No Sweat News quiz during which you can win tickets to see
04:38Nickelback at the Nutcracker Ball at Starland Ballroom, but also meet and greet passes for
04:44our private meet and greet with the band.
