00:01:13Shakespeare said,
00:01:14there's a tide in the affairs of men.
00:01:18And that tide is God.
00:01:23God puts kings on their thrones and he takes them off.
00:01:29The other eight years under Obama, it was tough for the evangelicals.
00:01:34We felt like we were forgotten.
00:01:39Trump spoke to people like me, and he literally took a whole segment of society that felt
00:01:45like they'd been abandoned, they'd been left behind.
00:01:51People in metropolitan areas or more affluent areas look down on people in Appalachia like
00:02:00we're not as smart, and you know, we hear all the jokes.
00:02:07I mean, I'm not so naive to think that he didn't capitalize on that.
00:02:11He did.
00:02:17We are the people that brought Donald Trump to power, and he pushes our agenda.
00:02:23.
00:02:33.
00:02:41.
00:02:42.
00:02:46.
00:02:47.
00:02:49.
00:02:51.
00:02:53.
00:03:19.
00:03:20children. When we see all of these things happening to the nation of Israel, it should
00:03:26give us all hope that when we hear of these wars, we can look up and see that our redemption
00:03:33will be coming. And friend, I don't know about you, but I look and I long for the King of
00:03:40Kings to come from heaven.
00:04:21I believe there's events on God's calendar concerning the return of the Messiah, and it's all tied
00:04:31to the Holy Land. My grandfather became pastor here in 1950. He was a staunch supporter of
00:04:46Israel. And after he passed away, that mission has grown exponentially more under my father.
00:04:52God's got a plan. If you can see his plan with a biblical worldview, then you can say,
00:04:59I believe I can put my life in his hands.
00:05:02It's a unique experience being a successor to someone. There's a gravity to it. So I would
00:05:10be the third generation that's pastored here. And anybody that's ever been to our church would
00:05:16know there's a spiritual obligation of a Christian to Israel.
00:05:20God gave a promise in Genesis chapter 12, and I'm going to bless all of those that bless you.
00:05:26And I'm going to curse all of them that curse you. Every nation that has blessed Israel,
00:05:32God has blessed them. And every nation that has opposed Israel, God has been in opposition
00:05:37to them. And I'm going to stand up for Israel. And if that offends you, you're in the wrong
00:05:43church this morning.
00:06:08We expect God to bless our church because we helped the nation of Israel. And I'm going to
00:06:13stand up for Israel. And I'm going to stand up for Israel. And I'm going to stand up for
00:06:13Israel, God. And in Jerusalem, Jesus is a church to be my
00:06:18church, and Jesus is a church to be here. And I'm going to stand up for Israel. And so I'm
00:06:38going
00:06:39to stand up for Israel and for Israel. Thank you.
00:06:45Be careful now.
00:06:47You guys okay this evening?
00:06:49Yeah.
00:06:50Alright.
00:06:52Every good thing we know,
00:06:54all the things we love about the Bible,
00:06:56they were given to us of the Jewish nation.
00:07:00Israel, their people, the Jews,
00:07:03are better than all of us.
00:07:06They're better than all of us.
00:07:08And you need to accept that.
00:07:10A lot of people hate Israel,
00:07:13the Arab countries,
00:07:14and they want to drive them into the sea.
00:07:16But we know that God will not cast away His people.
00:07:19When Jesus said salvation is of the Jews,
00:07:23He was right.
00:07:24Alright, one more question.
00:07:26Who wants to ask it?
00:07:28When do we get done?
00:07:32When are we going to get done?
00:07:33In this case.
00:07:42This is where, with the kids,
00:07:45where we start our indoctrination.
00:07:50I know that's a strong word to use, indoctrination,
00:07:53that it, you know,
00:07:55it gets such a bad reputation,
00:07:58but that's where it starts.
00:08:01That's where it started with me.
00:08:03When I was a child,
00:08:04that I was taught about the support
00:08:07that the church owes to Israel.
00:08:14So, all your loose change that you have from home,
00:08:18you bring that change to school.
00:08:21Everything that we get,
00:08:23we will actually cash it in
00:08:25and make a check out
00:08:27to the Fellowship for Christians and Jews.
00:08:30And so far,
00:08:32you guys are doing a good job.
00:08:35Do you think it's strange for parents here
00:08:38that their kids are asked
00:08:39to donate money to my country?
00:08:42I don't think so.
00:08:43I mean,
00:08:47I mean, maybe.
00:08:49I don't know.
00:08:50Maybe there's some people that would say,
00:08:52well, what does the church have any business
00:08:56helping Israel?
00:08:59I don't care what those people think.
00:09:00I know what's right,
00:09:01and I know what we're going to keep doing.
00:09:03As long as I'm here,
00:09:05we're going to keep helping the Fellowship.
00:09:09I don't care what those people think.
00:09:37So, we're going to go in,
00:09:38and basically the goal here
00:09:39is to give her the food box
00:09:40and to be able to show to people in America
00:09:44the situation that's going on here.
00:09:46I got it.
00:09:46Let's go for it.
00:09:47Okay, let's go in.
00:09:49You're okay with that?
00:09:50It's heavy.
00:10:17You're okay.
00:10:20And I know that they love me,
00:10:21and I know this is from them.
00:10:22She was so excited,
00:10:23and she just wanted to say,
00:10:24thank you, thank you, thank you.
00:10:37She's so excited,
00:10:38and she's so excited,
00:10:39she's so excited.
00:10:41She's so excited.
00:10:41Thank you,
00:10:42we're all so excited.
00:10:42I'm here.
00:10:43I only explain
00:10:44your story in English.
00:10:46A 77-year-old woman
00:10:48who was in a terror attack
00:10:50can't afford a pair of shoes
00:10:52because otherwise
00:10:53she'll have to give up her food.
00:10:54She said, I'm suffering every single day,
00:10:57and there's no one here to help me except for the fellowship,
00:11:01except for you guys.
00:11:02You're the only ones here who are helping me.
00:11:08Today, Christians are the largest supporters of humanitarian projects in Israel
00:11:12through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
00:11:19From food and medicine to security.
00:11:23You can't throw a stone in Israel without it landing next to a fellowship project.
00:11:46God has supplied the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
00:11:50with amazing partners.
00:11:52It's truly nothing short of a miracle.
00:11:55It is a miracle, and we've become
00:11:58the largest humanitarian philanthropy here in the state of Israel.
00:12:05But all of this is only possible when you partner with us.
00:12:13Me and my father are a really good team because we kind of complete each other.
00:12:18Could you tell us a little bit about where we are right now?
00:12:21What's behind us?
00:12:22You're a rabbi.
00:12:23You know these things.
00:12:26He's the authority.
00:12:28He's the rabbi.
00:12:30I'm just kind of following in his footsteps.
00:12:35But just as how in 2,000 years, Christians and Jews were apart and Christians were persecuting Jews,
00:12:43and nobody would have thought that the day would come when Christians would be our friends.
00:12:51For the first time in history, we're able to have a relationship with all these Christians who love Israel.
00:12:57That is only because of what my father started 37 years ago.
00:13:02The one God.
00:13:04Here we are, Christians and Jews, after that long intervening history of 2,000 years,
00:13:08which was not always such a good one, coming together to demonstrate solidarity.
00:13:14Back when my father started the organization, the Jewish community thought my father was crazy
00:13:22because of all the stigmas that evangelical Christians had.
00:13:27They were part of the KKK and white supremacists,
00:13:31that they were extremists.
00:13:32Focused on the need to break through some of the stereotypes that we tend to have of one another,
00:13:38stereotypes that have been brewing for 2,000 years.
00:13:42I remember I was always so nervous when my teachers would ask everyone,
00:13:45like, so what does your father do for a living?
00:13:47I'd always, like, put my head down.
00:13:49I'm like, I hope he doesn't call me.
00:13:52Back then, my father didn't have health insurance.
00:13:54He didn't have a salary.
00:13:56His friend who was a lawyer gave him a room in back of the law firm to work out of.
00:14:01Every day he would run to the mailbox, and if there were two pieces of mail,
00:14:04he'd be so excited, and he'd open it up and there'd be a $10 check.
00:14:09But then, after a few years, he met the televangelist.
00:14:13It's the 700 Club.
00:14:16Here's your host, Pat Robertson.
00:14:22We're talking about the most important land in all the world.
00:14:25You say, I thought that was Russia or the United States.
00:14:27No, it isn't.
00:14:28We're going to be talking about Israel.
00:14:30That's the land of the Bible.
00:14:31And we have...
00:14:32Yekiel came and was telling me about the bonds that he wanted to establish,
00:14:38the fellowship, the Holy Land Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
00:14:43I was so moved with what he wanted to do that I gave him a fairly substantial contribution,
00:14:49which I understood was the first one that he'd received.
00:14:53And so, Pat Robertson opened up the Christian Broadcasting Network
00:14:57to host this whole peloton.
00:15:00Ladies and gentlemen, joining us today is a rabbi best known as a bridge builder
00:15:03between Jews and Christians, Yekiel Eckstein.
00:15:06Good to see you again.
00:15:07Thanks, Pat.
00:15:08It's good to be here.
00:15:09My father, he raised something like $4 million in like 30 minutes.
00:15:15That's when he realized, these Christians want to be part of this.
00:15:36The Apostle Paul said, Jesus will come back to the Holy Land
00:15:42and it'll be a marvelous day for the world.
00:15:45And that's what the evangelicals believe and they want to support it.
00:15:53You know, I think Israelis have mixed feelings
00:15:56about Christian involvement in our country.
00:15:59Right.
00:16:00Do you feel that?
00:16:01So, I think that...
00:16:02I think in the beginning, the Israelis were very scared of Christians.
00:16:07They didn't trust that they weren't going to try to convert the Jews
00:16:10or use the Jews in a certain way
00:16:13to fulfill a political objective of theirs.
00:16:16And so, for many years, the fellowship was very controversial.
00:16:21It's a shame.
00:16:22It's a shame.
00:16:23It's a shame.
00:16:24It's a shame.
00:16:24It's a shame.
00:16:24It's all the strength that needs to be
00:16:26between the human being who builds himself
00:16:28and the human being who is born and is living in the Jews.
00:16:33I think it's okay to not to be able to quickly
00:16:36to the strength of the strength of his strength,
00:16:51.
00:17:09That's about long enough, guys.
00:17:13Do you remember what I shared with you about how
00:17:16Israel fits into the end time prophecy. This is the most important geographical place on the face
00:17:23of the earth. This is where Jesus will return. The first sign was Israel being reestablished
00:17:32nationally. And then there's going to be great tribulation in Israel. They're going to have wars,
00:17:40natural disasters, disease, and Jerusalem will be trodden down until the times of the Gentiles be
00:17:49fulfilled. As Christians, we're going to be preserved. We're going up to be with him during
00:17:57that time. That's the rapture. And that's the wonderful hope that we have. So now we're watching
00:18:06end time signs for the second coming of Christ. And then after that, there's going to be an
00:18:14end time battle that we studied and looked at previously this year. This is going to be
00:18:20the culmination, the battle of Armageddon.
00:18:25Hello and I welcome our ideas.
00:18:31in the human history of the army of Armageddon.
00:18:34The story begins from here, from the Har Megiddo,
00:18:37and from the Yvonne of Armageddon.
00:18:39This story lasts for seven years.
00:18:40The dogs of blood have fallen into the land,
00:18:44and what will be on the Jews?
00:18:46The two of them will die,
00:18:48and the third of them will die
00:18:50to protect his religion.
00:18:57People are asking,
00:18:59how will it end?
00:19:01When will it end?
00:19:03Does the Bible give us any indication
00:19:05of what might be happening?
00:19:08Now, Jesus said,
00:19:10before he comes back again,
00:19:13there will be great distress.
00:19:15This is called the tribulation.
00:19:25God is watching every missile.
00:19:28When Israel is involved in major warfare,
00:19:31pay attention,
00:19:32because the eye of God is on Jerusalem every day.
00:19:38When you see these signs,
00:19:41lift up your heads and rejoice!
00:19:43Your redemption draweth now!
00:19:54Is there an elephant in the room?
00:19:56Yeah.
00:19:58When the Christian community speaks
00:20:01about what they think is going to happen
00:20:02and what they envision,
00:20:04I relate to 99% of it.
00:20:06that is going to happen.
00:20:08But the end is different.
00:20:10Only one of us can be right.
00:20:25Evangelical Christianity is now the second-largest Christian movement in the world,
00:20:30second only to Roman Catholicism.
00:20:33The minimum estimate of evangelicals around the world is 650 million,
00:20:38and it's probably more like 800 million.
00:20:43American evangelicals are a voting bloc of 25% of the American population.
00:20:51Wouldn't we expect to be better represented in government?
00:20:56So, we have an evangelical vice president.
00:20:58We have an evangelical secretary of state.
00:21:01It is a never-ending struggle until the rapture.
00:21:04Be part of it.
00:21:06Be in the fight.
00:21:07We're taught to translate geopolitical realities through the lens of prophecy.
00:21:26We absolutely believe this land was given by God to the people of Israel.
00:21:37In 2016, the Trump administration approached the Christian community
00:21:42and said they wanted to form an evangelical advisory board.
00:21:46And all of a sudden, me and two dozen other evangelical advisors
00:21:50can make a direct call to the White House.
00:21:54The leaders asked several things.
00:21:56The Supreme Court, that he would strengthen the laws protecting the unborn in the United States,
00:22:04and that he would move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
00:22:09A historic transition.
00:22:11The U.S. Embassy in Israel officially moves from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
00:22:15Eighty-six different countries were invited to send delegations.
00:22:18Less than half did.
00:22:19That underlines just how controversial this embassy move is.
00:22:24The U.S. Embassy in Israel
00:22:46The U.S. Embassy in Israel
00:22:54Israelite in Jerusalem, it's a sort of threat.
00:22:56It's threat to the Israelis, it's threat to the Palestinians,
00:23:00and it's threat to hundreds of millions of Muslims in all over the world.
00:23:04Therefore, when the United States came to a situation like Jerusalem,
00:23:08this thing becomes a range of religion.
00:23:24There wasn't peace before this, so if it brings violence,
00:23:27there already was violence.
00:23:28They never stopped trying to kill us.
00:23:30So now they might try even more, but...
00:23:35Look at the narrative of this event.
00:23:37It's an American event.
00:23:40It's a matter of men of the world, men of the world,
00:23:43it's not a thing we see every day.
00:23:46Everything that happens in this world is according to your sovereign plan,
00:23:50but how grateful we are that we got to witness a part of that plan
00:23:53and unfolding today, as we look at it.
00:23:56We're talking about political politics,
00:23:58that from their perspective,
00:23:59the politics will continue to a falsehood.
00:24:03I think a lot of people,
00:24:05even today, didn't understand it.
00:24:09The State Department was so afraid
00:24:12to move our embassy to Jerusalem.
00:24:15Jerusalem, that to us was a very important signal in prophecy.
00:24:20We've been waiting for that to happen for decades.
00:24:23It's the fulfillment of God's promise of what He's going to do on Earth.
00:24:32Today, we officially open the United States Embassy in Jerusalem,
00:24:38the capital the Jewish people established in ancient times.
00:24:44Congratulations.
00:24:55Jerusalem is where Messiah will come and establish a kingdom that will never end.
00:25:01We thank you, O Lord, for President Donald Trump's courage.
00:25:05Believe me, O Lord, for President Donald Trump's courage.
00:25:06Hallelujah.
00:25:10Amen.
00:25:30Palestinians angry about the move, saying the U.S. is no longer a partner in the peace
00:25:35process Palestinian leaders warned that the embassy switch was an act of war deadly violence
00:25:44across the Palestinian territories and scenes of bloodshed set against the Jerusalem celebrations
00:26:15it couldn't get any worse here really everything is defined by the occupation
00:26:23and I think that with the move of the American embassy we have reached a dead end here
00:26:39in the last 10 years we are witnessing an increased level of involvement of evangelicals in this land
00:26:48they are many times surprised to know that us Palestinian Christians exist
00:26:54but historically there has always been a Christian presence here
00:26:59the evangelicals believe they will be blessed by donating to Israel
00:27:03they are basically guided by the scripture but do you think they really understand the complex
00:27:08situation in our region no they many many Christian Zionists when they look at Israelis and Jews
00:27:17they are not aware of the context they're not aware of things on the ground here
00:27:28when the evangelicals look at the west bank they look at the land as empty
00:27:37and they're simply ignoring the continuous occupation of the Palestinian people
00:27:50when they look at the future
00:27:51when they look at the future honestly they see a horror movie
00:27:56Armageddon and wars and battles
00:28:00their scenario is not that in which they will help us Palestinians and Israelis coexist
00:28:08when you see them advocating for a regional war in the Middle East which could be catastrophic for all of
00:28:16us
00:28:17it's really scary and and we cannot underestimate their influence anymore
00:28:29just this past week Donald Trump our president recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
00:28:39I'm just so thrilled that God is using President Trump to bless the nation of Israel
00:28:47Israel the Bible says I will bless those that bless Israel and I will curse those that cursed Israel
00:28:55well I want to be on the blessing side because we need so much help
00:28:59we are not a rich area
00:29:13this area has become like number eight or nine of worst counties in America to live in
00:29:24the current situation in Middlesbrough is that we've lost most of our co-jobs
00:29:32every fourth person is dealing with some sort of addiction
00:29:36the change probably started when I was in high school
00:29:40gradually moving down and then we have a crash five six years ago
00:29:46when I was a kid in Middlesbrough was known as the magic city
00:29:52unfortunately it's not that way now
00:29:56when you grow up somewhere and you know everyone there it becomes ingrained in you
00:30:04I get offers for senior pastor positions at other churches and I always refuse them
00:30:12because I want to be here this is where my heart's at
00:30:24I would like to be the source of encouragement to them in the problems that they're dealing with
00:30:29we need them then thank you all
00:30:33we have them responsibilities of the communities spiritual and emotional health
00:30:51And I know Jesus can give him a lot of comfort.
00:30:54I want to go back to the place where I was sick, where I almost died, where my kidneys shut
00:31:11down.
00:31:12That was a time of great suffering, a time of great depression.
00:31:15It was a great trying of my faith.
00:31:18It was the Lord hitherto that has helped me and been on my side.
00:31:28Jesus never came across a sick person that he did not heal.
00:31:32Jesus freely gave to all that came across him, and he endured the cross.
00:31:44I was undergoing chemotherapy when Elizabeth was born because I had a tumor on my spine
00:31:54in my rib, and then we found out about the cancer.
00:32:00A doctor told me I only had a year to live.
00:32:07That was ten years ago.
00:32:12I talk about it now, but I spent a lot of nights that I cried and I thought I was
00:32:18going to die.
00:32:19I felt like giving up.
00:32:23It definitely humbled me.
00:32:28So, I said to God, if you'll let me live, I'll do nothing else but serve you.
00:32:33Nothing.
00:32:46And the invitation, it said that you had to wear a cocktail dress.
00:32:52And I didn't know what that meant, so I googled cocktail dress.
00:32:56And it showed really, really casual.
00:33:03so that's what I brought but now I think I might be a little bit underdressed with all of the
00:33:08Beverly Hills people but when you're the one giving out five million dollars you can wear
00:33:15whatever you want
00:33:31Jerry Butler is a superstar in our country yes
00:33:41do you know who that is no I think he's from Hollywood I think he's really famous
00:33:54these are people here who are all some of the most influential people in America
00:34:02Sheldon Adelson and Chaim Saban probably don't agree on much and I'm sure Chaim disagrees with a lot of
00:34:10what our donor base believes but there's one thing that we agree on Israel
00:34:19hello nice to meet you an honor I actually I was with you at the Hanukkah party at the White
00:34:26House we met here Jews are dwindling how many Jews are there in Korea and these Christians are still
00:34:34growing there are 40 million in Brazil the Philippines I'm going now to Singapore which has a lot it's a
00:34:43question do we want to have more millions of Christians standing with us
00:34:50Israel and the U.S. defend democracy together
00:34:56for 70 years we've stood together side by side
00:35:05together let's open our hearts extend our arms and yes dig into our wallets to do something for
00:35:10those that protect Israel I built the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews where Christians
00:35:19have given through us 1.4 billion dollars to help Israel and the Jewish people
00:35:30and it's time for me to smell the roses and start to enjoy my life in a different way and
00:35:41so I would like
00:35:43to turn this microphone over to the next president of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
00:35:55the next generation
00:35:59it's my honor to announce on behalf of millions of Christians who love and stand with Israel
00:36:07five million dollars towards the FIDS
00:36:22my life literally ended up being everything I've never dreamed of when I was younger I never really
00:36:30felt like I fit in anywhere
00:36:34and I went out searching and I went to festivals and I went out hitchhiking around America looking for freedom
00:36:45my father he didn't know how to handle it and so he just gave me love but I think part
00:36:51of him was also
00:36:51really proud of me he understood what I wanted both of us really needed to to explore and find our
00:36:59own
00:37:00connection to the world to community to God to everything
00:37:06my father is my hero I want him to have a lot of peace in his heart that he has
00:37:13a successor
00:37:16speaking of prophecy being fulfilled we are honored to have Yael Eckstein to come and speak to us about the
00:37:24fellowship of Christians and Jews I just think it's a miracle and I think he won't want to miss it
00:37:31we have kids that live here that we pick up every week that they live here that's where they live
00:37:37yeah
00:37:38that looks like a house that's been abandoned not where people live that's the way a lot of these houses
00:37:43look wow and we have older sisters bringing in baby brothers and sisters just because the mom
00:37:50and doesn't want to watch them what i've seen pastor boyd is this revelation of genesis 12 3 that
00:37:59every church has to take care of their own and the local but when they also give to israel suddenly
00:38:08there's more to give and that god has blessed us through uh difficult financial times in our country
00:38:17our church has never felt the vibration of that economy i've seen charts that churches have made of
00:38:24their financial situation before they started giving and then once they started giving to israel their
00:38:31financial situation after and it's unbelievable to see how it's not connected to what's going
00:38:38on with the economy they're living in a different economic world which is i guess the spiritual world
00:38:46of genesis 12 3 every since our church has been involved in the fellowship with your father and yourself
00:39:09we've been blessed and today we have 25 000 more dollars and we're going to keep putting the blessings
00:39:16of abraham on us i know you know it's not very easy to get from israel to this church it
00:39:32was around a
00:39:32three-day journey but i said lord knows it's worth it you are part of something so big right here
00:39:42bigger than i think you even realize the destiny of the jewish people is the destiny of this church
00:39:50and the destiny of this church is the destiny of the jewish people there is good versus evil
00:39:58and god is saying what side are you on you have declared we're standing with life yes we're standing
00:40:11with light we're standing with god before you know it we are a force with power
00:40:23who's happy about president trump moving the embassy to jerusalem
00:40:30that's possible because of people like you the silent majority we feel it we're grateful for it
00:40:41and we pray for you in return and we pray for you in return shalom
00:40:55just a few words to further our connection with the fellowship of christians and jews and the
00:41:03exteens there's a battle on the way and god is going to miraculously intervene and he's going to
00:41:13protect israel and then jews around the world all the wealthy owners of the nba basketball teams and the
00:41:24movie moguls and all those wealthy jews you were with in los angeles there's going to know that there's a
00:41:30god in israel and their hearts are going to be turned back to israel because many of them are not
00:41:36practicing jews some of them even atheistic and their hearts going to be turned again to israel
00:41:43and the money's going to pour in and then that end time temple will be built on the temple mount
00:41:53i wonder what do you think about what pastor william was saying today at the church
00:42:01um
00:42:10i don't remember exactly what he was saying but i think as a jewish person whenever you hear jesus
00:42:19intertwined into old testament teachings it's a trigger it's a trigger
00:42:29but then immediately i'm like this is me i have to separate myself from the situation
00:42:39look at it through godly eyes the starting point is that we're different they are christian
00:42:44they believe in jesus and that's okay i'm going to interpret the bible through jewish eyes and it's
00:42:52a paradox and once you get five steps ahead of that it gets really freaking complicated
00:42:58but that's why i don't go those five steps pastor so at the end of times what about jews like
00:43:08me and
00:43:08yael that we don't accept jesus and what will happen to us and so maya that's an old question
00:43:18and it's a huge one and it's disturbing to a lot of people what will god do with those that
00:43:24don't accept jesus
00:43:27the bible says they're going to have to go through seven years of great tribulation
00:43:33i don't want it to be bloody gory violent i don't want that i don't want to have to say
00:43:41my way's right
00:43:42so many and turn or burn you're going to get roasted in hell forever it's not my motive not my
00:43:49goal
00:43:50it's not it's really not but jesus said i am the way the truth and the life and no man
00:43:57comes to the
00:44:16father built by me
00:44:17the parallels are very clear the israeli settler movement in some ways is like the evangelical
00:44:23movement of the jewish people so you have two ideologically motivated crowds pushing an agenda
00:44:32that is handed to them by god i've been on the israeli palestine issue for the better part of 20
00:44:41some years i was the officer for the u.s government in charge of reporting on jewish settlements in the
00:44:48west bank during that time i learned to take seriously the intentions and aspirations of people
00:44:54who have chosen to vote with their feet and with their children's feet to ensure that there could
00:44:59never be any land given to the palestinians and that israel keeps all into the land in judea and samaria
00:45:10hello hi welcome thank you thank you come everybody follow me
00:45:17i was born in cleveland ohio and i came to israel already very fired up about the settlement movement
00:45:25which was at that point really in its infancy i started christian friends of israeli communities
00:45:32because christians came to me and said we want to support the settlements help us do it you are
00:45:39christians i'm jewish we have a lot in common eighty percent of your bible is my bible this bible this
00:45:48is of course just my bible okay you have another little bit here right but think of this all of
00:45:55this we share to me i think the jews are the stars of the film okay the jews are coming
00:46:02back to israel
00:46:03that's us not them they believe in the holiness of the process but they can only be supporting actors
00:46:11they have no other role but if we allow them to be supporting actors wow at least they're in the
00:46:17movie
00:46:18so when we say we're looking forward to a redemption you and i may have different versions of what that
00:46:23redemption may look like but what we can focus on is what the settlement movement is about
00:46:30this area is judean samaria this is the place where the nations of the world today say jews don't
00:46:37belong there this should be an arab state this should be a state of palestine divide the land
00:46:44establishing a palestinian state here is going to mean getting rid of all the jews who live in judean
00:46:50samaria this is what we are up against
00:46:59yasi dagan the head of the regional council of samaria he came to realize christian politicians who act on
00:47:09faith could be very influential so we're using politics to assist us in advancing a position that
00:47:23is based on religion and ideology father i pray for each man and woman in this room to allow you
00:47:30to
00:47:31direct their steps and we pray your direction upon this meeting in jesus name amen amen they really
00:47:39want that all the area of state of israel will be just nine miles and we jewish people in judea
00:47:46and
00:47:46samaria need your help with your policy we have the same mission so you got this thing where settlers
00:47:53come up to the hill and lobby and these are hard line extremist settlers joyfully meeting with members
00:48:00of congress talking about how the way to peace is through normalizing settlements
00:48:26and used to be that you would have support for israel on a bipartisan basis but now israel has
00:48:33written off progressive american jews like me completely they've just written us off
00:48:39the settlement movement has long been frustrated with american jews having nothing to do with judea
00:48:48and samaria so if we are seeking an important influential group of people particularly in the
00:48:55united states who are supportive of the settlement movement we have to look to evangelical christians
00:49:03john haggie was really the foremost christian leader involved in israel at any level how is america
00:49:11trying to get israel to appease the islamo-fascist land for peace give them judea and samaria give them
00:49:21gaza give them part of jerusalem i say never never never never and so the leaders of the settlement
00:49:28movement felt that it was john haggie who would be the ideal person to establish an organization of
00:49:35christians to advocate for jewish settlement in judea and samaria
00:49:49never in our history have we had favor at the same time with the president of the united states with
00:49:58the
00:49:59prime minister of israel with the secretary of state all of those people are suddenly helping us achieve our
00:50:07objectives because the favor of god is with this organization
00:50:24when you go up to capitol hill remind anyone you meet with you are their constituent you're part of the
00:50:31the largest pro-israel group in the country with 4.2 million members
00:50:36kufi is going to go to the hill this year and lead on the issue of unruh the united nations
00:50:42relief and
00:50:42works agency our point is not that we think the palestinians are getting too much money although
00:50:49they probably are we think congress should express support for limiting our contributions to unruh
00:50:57we have a friendly administration a friendly house of representatives a friendly united states senate
00:51:02are we tired of winning let's win some more
00:51:29unruh has been under attack now for years and with kufi you have an army of people pushing that agenda
00:51:41in the west bank and gaza unruh plays a critical role it provides education food water housing the
00:51:50security community has been warning people this could be extremely destabilizing but there is a
00:51:57political momentum here that is being driven by people who say don't bother me with your security
00:52:02problems because i'm doing this anyway the united states is officially cutting hundreds of millions
00:52:19of dollars in aid to the un agency in terms of helping palestinian refugees now donald trump's decision
00:52:25to hold back aid to the un relief agency for the palestinians has angered many in the middle east and
00:52:31at the united nations claiming the move will have devastating consequences so why has he done it
00:52:44it's understandable that israelis would seek allies it is a question though of whom you decide to ally
00:52:52yourself with and what it says about you would you please welcome my friend and prime minister of israel
00:52:58benjamin netten young thank you pastor hegey you are always there for us we have no better friends on earth
00:53:06than you
00:53:09it's an irony of our times that there are folks who are considered great friends of the jewish people
00:53:15who could be seen as anti-semitic god says in jeremiah 16 behold i will bring them the jewish people
00:53:22again into their land how is god going to bring them back to the land the answer is hunter a
00:53:29hunter is
00:53:29someone who comes with a gun and he forces you hitler was a hunter how did it happen because god
00:53:38allowed it to
00:53:38happen i think you have a case here of an opportunistic alignment that's redefining what it means to be a
00:53:45friend of israel i don't think israelis appreciate the bargain they're making when you align yourself
00:53:52with evangelicals you're signing on to their whole agenda whether it's on women's rights or lgbt rights
00:53:58or abortion rights or any of these things when it comes to homosexual behavior that's harmful to society
00:54:04and the research is overwhelming that homosexuality poses a risk to children
00:54:08it is my profound honor to be the first president in history to attend the march for life
00:54:26when we see the image of a baby in the womb we glimpse the majesty of god's
00:54:37creation
00:54:38jesus said what you do to the least of these little ones you've done it unto me and in the
00:54:43greeks
00:54:43there that little ones it's interpreted the theta i'm going to introduce to you dr alvarado and i
00:54:50believe he's going to be our next lieutenant governor and that'll be a blessing because he is pro-life to
00:54:57the very heart of him we're a state right now that's arguably the most pro-life state in the union
00:55:01we're
00:55:02down to one abortion clinic in louisville but we're not going to stop until you have zero
00:55:15this week my church will be taking another group to israel
00:55:21and i just want you to help me pray that they have a safe trip
00:55:27there's hypha from the mount carmel beautiful isn't it that's 82.
00:55:35when i was little my dad talked about when they went to israel
00:55:42i'm standing on actual steps that jesus traveled
00:55:49and jesus went to the bow of the boat and stretched out his hand
00:55:52amen and he talked to this water and he said peace be still amen and it laid him
00:55:59ain't no danger
00:56:10i've been taught to believe the return of the jewish people home and the establishment of the state of
00:56:16israel those are necessary prophetic events that had to be fulfilled
00:56:45for many christian people
00:56:49just being here it brings them some peace
00:56:55christ died for our sins according to the scripture
00:57:00now all of that scripture was written in the old testament this was predicted jesus would rise again
00:57:27i'm so grateful that you are here with us touching the lives
00:57:34of the less fortunate
00:57:37you're not just visitors you're a part of it god bless you thank you everyone welcome home
00:57:51when we gave the donation in november when you were there there's been a piece of property we've
00:57:59wanted for years it's next to our church it's five acres you showed me it that's me breaking ground on
00:58:06it
00:58:06we bought it a week after you left sowing good seed into good ground yeah that's amazing
00:58:11and god blessed us because we blessed israel
00:58:15every place here that there's been some empty lots is being built
00:58:21when you see a modern jewish community here in the heart of biblical israel
00:58:25you're seeing god's promises being fulfilled before your very eyes
00:58:31it's exciting times we live in it's all prophesied it's happening we see it and we're glad to be a
00:58:40part of it
00:58:42for i will gather all nations against jerusalem to battle and the city shall be taken and the houses
00:58:49rifled and the women ravished and the lord shall be king over all the earth israel cannot lay their weapons
00:58:58down they cannot trust their neighbors neither can we as christians until the battle's completed
00:59:06we've got to stay armed and ready america
00:59:32when i was sick i used to sit and think
00:59:38am i ever going to be able to go to israel
00:59:43by coming here
00:59:46i feel like maybe i conquered something
00:59:53suffering can do two things in the human experience
00:59:59suffering can make us bitter or suffering can make us better
01:00:07i hope my suffering can make me better
01:00:16jesus said what the greatest commandment was
01:00:21to love your neighbor as yourself
01:00:25jesus taught us to love
01:00:31my name is boy boy yeah welcome where do you come from kentucky is this your first time in bethlehem
01:00:38yeah it's my first time
01:00:40oh wow the roof we added the arabic inscription there
01:00:47luke 2 14 glory to god in the highest peace on earth and good will to men incredible
01:00:54christians in bethlehem probably make around 25 percent of the population they're leaving
01:01:00i have many who left what would be the reason for that
01:01:04um life here is hard i understand the israeli occupation they control everything and gradually people
01:01:12look for a better life outside evangelicals have contributed very negatively when it comes to this
01:01:21conflict because they are obsessed with prophecy see here's what i don't get about many american
01:01:28evangelicals in their scenarios jews will either be converted to christianity at one day those who
01:01:35want sadly will be massacred that's their prophetic understanding uh but somehow this is perceived as
01:01:43a theology that supports the jewish people to me that's a very twisted logic the idea that god is
01:01:48bringing the jews back to their land what is often missed is the palestinian presence
01:01:54it is as if you speak of an empty land
01:01:59we have been at the receiving end of a theology that actually told us we don't belong here
01:02:07that even told us that we are second-class citizens in our homeland at the same time you have what
01:02:14god
01:02:15said to moses and what god said to abraham and what god said to joshua and then what god said
01:02:21to david
01:02:21and those are those covenant promises and i'm not one that believes that god would ever go back on his
01:02:27word
01:02:27the mandate establish a theocracy in it applies today to the jewish people
01:02:35god did say that so at any time the jews have and i think that how is that different from
01:02:42and from when muslims say we are we have a mandate to do uh jihad and empty the land from
01:02:51infidels
01:02:51us and if we bring this because they don't worship our god so it's really a battle between gods and
01:02:58this land well i i i would certainly refuse to accept that many american evangelicals
01:03:12and i didn't want to say this to him and hurt his feelings there's no such thing as a palestinian
01:03:18that's not evangelicalism that's not donald trump that's not boyd bingham that's not bb netanyahu
01:03:26that's facts of history his interpretation of the scripture is theological anti-semitism my mind won't
01:03:37be changed on that
01:03:38This is not something.
01:03:40Okay.
01:03:41I'm not sure.
01:03:45I'm not sure.
01:03:50I'm not sure.
01:04:06I'm sorry for that.
01:04:08I'm sorry I didn't tell you more often how proud I am of you.
01:04:11I'm sorry I didn't tell you more often how much I look up to you and respect you and cherish
01:04:17your every word.
01:04:36And when I think about how he woke up and had coffee and read the newspaper and had a heart
01:04:42attack and died, I realize it's the biggest blessing.
01:04:47He didn't suffer.
01:04:50And I believe that this next year I have a responsibility to my father that's greater than any time in
01:04:58his lifetime.
01:05:03It's not easy traveling all over, leaving my bored kids and my husband.
01:05:10But right now is the time that I have to prove myself.
01:05:19Lori, we just praise you and thank you for this day, Father, and we thank you for bringing
01:05:23you all here safely in Jesus' name.
01:05:26Amen.
01:05:28You're welcome.
01:05:31Up until now, we've been a very emotional-based organization.
01:05:35And we have to take this transition to be intentional and strategic and to really set clear goals.
01:05:43We have to bring this to the world and take the fellowship to this historic, unprecedented place.
01:05:51President Trump isn't supporting Israel because of the Jewish community.
01:05:54He's supporting it because of his evangelical followers.
01:05:57And we're seeing in every way now what our fathers said 37 years ago.
01:06:02This isn't about money.
01:06:03This isn't about being a humanitarian organization.
01:06:06This is bigger than this.
01:06:07This is a strategic partnership of God.
01:06:10Thanks.
01:06:19You shall have no other gods before me.
01:06:21You shall not make for yourself idols.
01:06:24You shall not take God's name in vain.
01:06:26You shall not take this military health center to be referred.
01:06:30They were going to be intentional.
01:06:31It's not special.
01:06:56You shall have no idea.
01:06:57This is the greatest international authority.
01:06:57We can be için and I'll be able to become a historian,
01:07:05but we will not to return to the mass of the terror city.
01:07:09Two partners who until today looked at the political crisis
01:07:12were in this political situation
01:07:13at the last three years have gone huge consequences.
01:07:16The first is the evangelical people.
01:07:18The second is the anti-dial communists.
01:07:20The anti-dial communists.
01:07:21The anti-dial communists, the anti-dial communists,
01:07:22this is the base of his political obrigado.
01:07:24to Trump, there is a evangelist.
01:07:27And these groups act in such a way
01:07:31from Israel and the United States,
01:07:33to achieve their goals.
01:07:37The ability to advance this issue
01:07:39is not less than that.
01:07:43For example, today there are no palestines in the event.
01:07:47This is a form of a group of 1
01:07:50that exist in a church, a evangelist, and a church.
01:08:19BB, we have a lot of powerful people in this room.
01:08:22My plan for peace is fundamentally different
01:08:25from past proposals.
01:08:27The United States will recognize Israeli sovereignty
01:08:30over the territory that my vision provides
01:08:33to be part of the State of Israel.
01:08:36Mr. President, your deal of the century
01:08:39is the opportunity of the century.
01:08:42Regardless of the Palestinian decision,
01:08:43Israel will apply its sovereignty
01:08:46over all the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria,
01:08:50large and small alike.
01:08:53As the distinguished pastors who are here know very well,
01:08:56these are places inscribed in the pages of the Bible
01:08:59that will now be recognized as a permanent part
01:09:03of the Jewish state.
01:09:10It's a great historic day for the Palestinians,
01:09:12for the Jewish community,
01:09:13and for the Christian community.
01:09:15Why are there so many evangelicals here?
01:09:18Evangelicals are...
01:09:21it's a holy land for Christians,
01:09:22like for the Jewish community.
01:09:24Yeah, I mean, yeah,
01:09:25we had our seat at the table.
01:09:27The plan reflects that.
01:09:30The thing that happens is that
01:09:32the soldiers who are now working to the army
01:09:34are children who do not have children
01:09:36after they were fired
01:09:37after they took advantage of the mission
01:09:39and they will have taken advantage of it.
01:09:40They don't forget the situation.
01:09:44They don't forget what their price is.
01:09:49And they have to get back to the settings,
01:10:19I believe that God has given us.
01:10:22God has a glimpse of what the future will be.
01:10:26Where there's more accountability in political systems to the church, it's all according
01:10:34to his plan.
01:10:38We're God's instruments for his end time plan.
01:10:42I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and to the Savior for his heavenly status.
01:10:51One brotherhood uniting all Christians in service and love.
01:10:56We have Maya and Aby here today, our wonderful Hebrew friends from Israel with a camera for
01:11:04this documentary.
01:11:06Don't they love me to put up with this?
01:11:10They love me.
01:11:12And I've been telling them about that Ezekiel battle.
01:11:15It's coming.
01:11:17It's coming.
01:11:18So I want to get them saved right now.
01:11:21If you followed him and were baptized in his name, you wouldn't be denying your parents.
01:11:28You wouldn't be denying your faith.
01:11:31You wouldn't be denying your heritage.
01:11:34You would be bringing into your face the culmination, the zeniths, the apex of it all.
01:11:43I'm talking about the Lord Jesus Christ, Messiah, Lord of all, mighty God, everlasting Father,
01:11:51the Prince of Peace, and that new name that's never been defiled.
01:11:57Pastor, some would argue that this cooperation between Jews and evangelical Christians has
01:12:05a certain level of hypocrisy.
01:12:06Don't you think so?
01:12:09You don't want to hear me come across and say, you blind, stupid Jewish people, can't
01:12:14you see this evidently set forth before you?
01:12:18The historical, biblical evidence is here.
01:12:21How could you be so blind because you're just a little bit arrogant?
01:12:26Now you're going to have to go through the tribulation, get your tail busted, and get
01:12:29humbled down there that you will say, you know that little crazy, wacky preacher we went
01:12:34over there in Kentucky, and he sat there and told us, he's right.
01:12:37And now we're going through all this big mess over here in Israel.
01:12:41It's unbelievable.
01:12:42Why didn't we see this before?
01:12:44Now we've been humbled.
01:12:45We're not so arrogant.
01:12:47Now, now we see it.
01:12:49You don't want me to come across like that now, my husband.
01:12:53Huh?
01:12:58Here we go.
01:13:01Okay.
01:13:15Here we go.
01:13:37covered by the blood. My iniquities so fast have been blotted out at last. My sins are all covered by
01:13:53the blood.
01:13:56Very good. You remembered more than I did, for sure.
