01:17The Cuban regime has also spent decades coordinating with the left-wing radicals
01:22and communist networks here in the United States.
01:25As our State Department has detailed, they've cultivated ties to subversive and radical groups,
01:32such as the Communist Party USA, Antifa, and the Democrat Socialists of America.
01:39Communism will never be coming to America, but freedom will be coming to Cuba,
01:44and safety and security will be coming to Mexico.
01:48I'm very proud to tell you we have a very good relationship with the Mexican government.
01:52We've made great strides, very great strides with Mexico.
01:56They don't want the cartels either.
01:59And when that day comes, this entire region will be a better, safer,
02:03and more beautiful place in which to live and thrive.
02:06As I announced just days ago, the United States has also reached an unprecedented agreement
02:14regarding the northern frontier of North America,
02:17the large and strategically vital piece of land known as Greenland.
02:22This agreement made with the Kingdom of Denmark, an incredible, beautiful country,
02:27and the Greenland people itself gives the United States permanent control over security
02:34and all other needs on that territory.
02:36We will have the complete ability to do what is necessary to defend the American continent
02:43and also Europe and other places.
02:46No U.S. adversary will ever be permitted to establish a military presence in Greenland anymore,
02:53or make sensitive investments there without our express written approval.
02:56We will immediately begin the process of developing a large military presence in the appropriate locations.
03:04We will be building two very major military bases.
03:09This agreement will be signed later today, and I look forward to working with the wonderful people of Denmark and
03:18Greenland.
03:18It's been a great experience, amazing experience, and we've really formed a bond in doing it.
03:24By expanding America's footprint in the Arctic and North Atlantic, this deal also protects Europe,
03:31in addition to America, and greatly protects them.
03:35It also very much enhances NATO with who has a great leader.
03:40And Mark, I know you're in the audience, and you are indeed a great leader, Mark Rutte,
03:47which is now growing stronger than ever before.
03:50NATO is doing things that nobody thought they would be able to do, including raising their number to 5%
03:55from 2%,
03:57a number that's a protection that's going to be much greater protection for them.
04:02And we continue to seek and end the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine,
04:09which is killing, as I said, thousands and thousands of people every month.
04:15Last week, in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham, I signed a powerful new law passed by Congress
04:20providing me with enormous new tariff authorities, and if necessary, I will have to use them.

05:32to implement the most sweeping UN reforms in history.
05:35We cut the UN budget for the first time ever, slashing it by 15% in 2026 that eliminated more
05:43than 4,000 positions from the UN bureaucracy.
05:46The United Nations has great, great potential. I've said that for many years.
05:51But it must stop imposing the far-left agenda of globalist bureaucrats who nobody ever elected.
05:59Last year, my administration was forced to intervene to stop an obscure UN body, the International Maritime Organization,
06:07from secretly establishing a first-ever global carbon tax, a very expensive tax, to raise international shipping costs by 10
06:19% to 20%, and maybe more than that.

11:14And we will be very careful, and that's why we have a Department of Justice that we've already used it,

11:23Everything worked out very well and very quickly.
11:26And other law enforcement bodies that will rein things in if we have to do that.
11:32But we will only encourage super intelligence.
11:36We're going to encourage it, not rein it in.
11:39We're going to watch it closely through the Department of Justice.
11:42The United States leads the world in super intelligence and will continue to do so safely and responsibly.
11:50Americans have never been a nation that retreats from a frontier or shrinks from a challenge, no matter how great
11:57or how daunting that challenge may be.

12:10It was right here in New York City that George Washington ordered the Declaration of Independence read to his troops

12:21As they listened to those immortal words for the first time, the patriots could see across the waters of New
12:27York Harbor to a British invasion fleet,
12:29more than 100 ships strong, which had just arrived to crush the cause of liberty.
12:36Thousands of soldiers getting off those ships.
12:39Nobody stood a chance, but we won, and we won decisively.
12:44Those first Americans knew that it is not enough merely to believe in great principles.
12:49We must also have the will and the courage and the strength to defend them.
12:54As we gather in this same city two and a half centuries later to discuss the great events of our
13:01time,
13:02that is the challenge for every nation in this room.
13:07If we go forward strong and united against the enemies of all humanity,
13:13if we reject the voices who would have us give in to fear and doubt,
13:18if we refuse to shrink from our duties to our people,
13:23then together, through bold action, we will make this world far safer and a far better place.
13:30We will leave our nations far stronger.
13:33We will grow our economies far bigger.
13:37And we will not just speak of peace, prosperity and justice here at the United Nations.
13:43We will stand for them all over the world.
13:46Together, we will build a future for a people that is brighter,
13:50more hopeful and more magnificent than ever before.
